The clip was shot on mini digital video tapes. The quality was fine until I saved it for web use. It was easy to see the bright yellow disc finish up by the basket.
The roll reacts like a backhand roller but easier to control at a shorter range. Oh well, the info is still useful. At least people will find out what a Scoober really is instead of what Expert Village is demonstrating. And Ultimate players also misuse the term for a short sidearm grip UD toss.
lol nice muscles...good video too. You may want to save it as something else...to tell you the truth I'm really into computers and have never heard of DV quality. Just wikipedia'd it and seems it's an old small tape quality. I'm surprised it comes out this bad unless it's an old camera of yours.
Excellent information, Gregg. Too bad we can't see the disc after you throw it! I know you're probably shooting this video alone and can't zoom, but it sure would be helpful to see where the disc rolls! Maybe next time do a wide shot like in this video, then also zoom in a little on the basket area and throw the disc again? Then edit them together so both the throw and the roll can be clearly seen.
thanks for taking the time to clear up the misinformation surrounding scoobers/scoobys :)

The disc showed up nicely when saved as DV quality.
I don't have a lot of experience with web quality vids.
I'll keep that in mind for future videos. Thanks TRW.
My primary concern was to supply correct information on the throw before the wrong info becomes "The Truth".
