This is awesome! I wish I could somehow find actual footage of Aram K. himself conducting, and especially playing piano! There HAS to be video of him somewhere, after all he lived until the late 1970s! Maybe it's locked away somewhere in Moscow or Yerevan!

@celebrity101 This reminds me of some bazouki music my friend Kostas sends me from Greece. I've tried to like that sound but it reminds me of the 'blues' from USA. I like happier sounding music usually. I agree with your comment, it is mesmerizing! The minor chords keep resolving in a way I can't even describe. It's as though this music is telling a story in several chapters. It's a stunning portrayal of the mystery of a masquerade ball. Come visit my 700 playlists of a century of music! chuck
