There are many russian movies about war. I don't like this one. Two reasons:

1) It's pretending to be based on real facts, but it's obvious propaganda.

2) even if there was no propaganda, I can say I've seen better russian movies on war and Chechnya.

"Voyna", for example (even though it's not about a war itself). You can find the whole movie in youtube (12 parts). But it has no subtitles.
