Yeah he is going paralyzed with neuropathy and had surgery on his neck today, which means I missed a run tonight. Looks like we will be selling both cars, trailer, RV, and rig, to pay for his procedures and medical bills if something doesn't happen, but I'm thinking about falling back on dirt track (since it's local and i still have the car) for a lil while until dad gets better, and then try again with Nascar. But it's no big deal, I'll be back if I get away from it.
to end all the ignorant bullshit comments on this page. You don't graduate from nascar to F1 or vice versa. both race cars are separate from each other, as in speed, set up and performance is completely different. You LEARN to drive these cars, these vehicles are no toys, it's a video game where you plug in and go. Any professional will tell you, practice makes perfect and knowledge of the car is everything. A little racing 101 for the children on this page.
@BillyO8834 I completely agree, I don't hate F1, wouldn't mind racing those cars either, but I enjoy Nascar better and I was pointing out why. And from an experienced dirt track racer, and new road race driver (in a Nascar league, similar to Minor League Baseball), it does take practice to get perfect with any car or type of racing. And right now I find it harder to racer dirt track than it is to run on pavement. Though the competition is tougher in the league racing than in local dirt track.
@texasmusicfan03 *Thumbs Up* It's nice to see some knowledgeable ppl on youtube, not just some immature 16 year old with a fresh license who thinks they're gods gift to road racing lol.
@BillyO8834 Yeah I'm only 22 I still consider myself a young driver with a long way to go, but I've been racing since I was 9 start with the karts, and been racing full bodied cars since 12 on dirt up until last year mid-season so I have a lot of experience. Which brings me to now racing short track Nascar minor league with no named drivers lol. Though I've seen Jack Roush and a few famous owners/crew cheifs watching our races for future prospects. But the racing might end soon with Dads health.
@texasmusicfan03 Sorry to hear about your dad, I hope you stay racing, keep him proud you know? You're still young and i wish you the best of luck, hopefully your pops health improves.
cause rhys millen does at all the drift events. i kinda feel bad for redbull with all the sponsoring they do, that thier driver that represents them is such an asshat.
haha he finally figured it out.. theres more to life then just making a LEFT TURN driting and time attack touge are where real drivers are made... its where we actually HAVE TURNS not just go straight or make a left turn
it takes as much skill to turn left as it does to turn left and right. and also, AJ was a champ car driver for several years and won a bunch of road races in them. he never was known as an oval racer until he went to nascar.
Yeah I would never say that Nascar is an easy sport, actually many people have said that the cars are much harder to drive then a lot of other racing styles.
May often be boring to watch, but definitely not simple.
@vansoth Yes, they are actually harder to drive compared to the F1 cars. Those cars pretty much drive the driver, Nascar you have complete control over the car, the car does not drive you. There is so much technology in F1 that ruin the actual part of 'driving' and it's is based off of who has the best car, yes driver does have somewhat of a factor. But you always see the same few always win at F1 but Nascar it's always a different winner every race, and that's what I like about it.
haha if only you knew how tough it was in those cars buddy. I have driven one and just going 170 on high banking will wear out. i couldnt imagine 180+ on high banking for 4 hours! Learn the info before posting
haha that shows how much you know dickhead. They compete on road courses and do better than f1 racers do! LOL!!! oh and by the way...learn how to spell!
haha thats funny cuz like i said they only make laft turns dumbass come talk to me when nascar drivers do more then just left turn fucken ricer dumbass
Hey kid...was anyone talking to you? If you could actually read or knew anything at all about nascar before running your mouth you would know that they run 2 road courses and they do better than the F1 drivers do on those same courses! DUMBASS!
your the dumbass they do more left turns then any other motor sport fucken hill billy ricer!!!! go drink your fucken 2 day old beer peice of shit rice!!!!
Why in the hell do you keep saying ricer....do you have any idea what that means? Apparently not because you arent even using it right. When you get out of diapers...talk to me! Thanks!
@skylinefreakrb26 lol, your a genious, picking out how they do more left turns then any other sport? they have 4 corners at each oval.....how many does F1 have at each track, your the piece of shit ricer? lol, so your calling him a japanese car?
@sweffe96 They make the cars TO BE setup to go either LEFT OR RIGHT. Why does every think they are made to go left, no it's the setup that is making them go left, a few adjustments you can have the car going right. It's all in the setup, the car was not built to go just left. They just designed the setup so that there can be easy adjustments made to them. There is a difference between the design of the car and the setup. Look at Sonoma, the toe, camber, chamfer of the tires make the difference.
@sweffe96 sorta they have fins set up for turning left like indy or any other racing and they are " set up " go turn left is what your were looking for .. on road courses they dont turn left

idk about the japs being better im full jap. but i mean cuz all the d1 events they have down here the japs always mess up on one turn or if anything they dont mess up but they get scored low hah what ever. but im pretty sure if they made it at like fuji speedway or something it would be differnt. the track set ups between the japs and the americans are different.
