@chevyboy47 Sorry to say this but then you've only heard the 90% cheesy hardstyle melodies. Even Noisecontrollers themselves have way better tracks like Astral and Attack Again. If you're interested in some way better melodic tracks (well, imo), I'll pm you

Wow... I liked hardstyle and some trance/hard trance great music but I had been searching for the specific style that fit me. Fucking melodic hardstyle is it! Id like the bass to be deeper with a little less slap but fuck this shit is great. I finally found my genre! :)

i love the melodies in melodic hardstyle (Nu hardstyle), but the bass is horrible compared to the original, heavey bass of old hardstyle.

They should just put the heavy bass with the epic melodies.

i have also noticed that hardstyle has also started to sound more like hardtrance and hardcore now, any one else noticed it?

Hardstyle has always been noted for its "hardocore-like kicks". Listen to older trakcs and you'll see.

About the hard trance part, it is because hardtrance is generally hardstyle with different built melodies and a kick with a reversed bass. Or vice versa.

All in all, you're wrong, even though people thumbs you up they must be newbies, as hardstyle always has been like this. It's an offspring of trance.

I have never seen a good reason for this. The bass is still hard enough for me, and enjoy it more melodic :)

@TranceExplosion Headhunterz does quite good melodic hardstyle with a good base in it. As for the trance yes I have defo noticed it in that songs build break in the center and rebuild headhunterz has a very noticeable link to trance as in a way does showtek but it hasnt started being exactly a bad thing as of yet and hopefully it wont be

@TranceExplosion The bass is even better in "Melodic Hardstyle" (Just my opinion) . But I Agree that would be awesome if the "normal" hardstyles had great melodies aswell plus the hardbass :D

@TranceExplosion Well Hard Trance was the predecessor to Hardstyle, thats why Hard Trance is really not that big anymore. Hardstyle took it over.
