Jonah Lomu was a star rugby athelete who shurged hits like that in all his games he was fast and strong he was like L.T. mixed with Ray Lewis. @datboyyang most outside linebackers are lucky to run in the 4.6-4.7 range, with mlb's running in the 4.8 to 4.9 range. I can't think of any linebacker that has gone sub 4.5. So 4.4 is out of the question. Usually the ones that run 4.5 are undersized and can't hit worth a crap

'tis all relative. In a non-padded sport, you'd have head contact being a foul. But with American football, the extra protection seems to be a licence to inflict as much damage as possible. As a result, American football appears to be one of the few major sports that has its own wiki page regarding health issues!

Of course if you wear pads your going to hit harder.Its in your head if you have pads wou have more confidence in not getting hurt and you can go in harder.If your just using your shoulder it can hurt you a bit. I play rugby league not union so we dont have alot of laying on the ground and the hits in first grade can be just as hard. Some of yous may not know but shoulder charging in rugby union is actually a penalty.
