  • Verry nice you play evrything o what,, Congratulations

and dont ever stoppppp teach kids so they can be like you ....

  • ragtime fans.....a "peacherine" was turn-of-the-century slang for "dazzlingly beautiful woman" so think of your girl when you play this and you'll feel it more

  • I like the speed you play this, but also it has a good feeling to it.

  • You sure are versatile, playing piano too, and doing a great job at it.

  • Hello !

Excellente interprétation de ce ragtime ! vous jouez aussi bien au piano qu'à la gretsch ! Bravo !!!

    Fred

  • Thank you Fred!

  • Another fantastic video my friend. Keep it up...

  • Wow! You play it so cheerful. My little brother now dance near me!

Can you play 'Maple Leaf Rag' by Scott Joplin?

And do you see a film "The Legend of 1900"? There is a man that can play many rags, and all the people on the ship just dance all day and all night. :o)

  • Hi Alex,

Thank you for your nice comment. I was nervous playing it in front of a lot of people. I really like the Maple Leaf rag but haven't learned it yet.

I will look for the film. I haven't heard of it. I would like to see it.

    Gretsch'n

  • Do you read music or play by ear? I love all of your music. How many instruments do you play?//Phil

  • Hi Phil,

I read music and play by ear. For this piece I mostly read the music and listened to it on youtube to learn it. I love ragtime music!!!! I'm working on another one right now called Sunflower Slow Drag by Joplin. I play guitar, violin, banjo, mandolin and piano. I want to learn the drums next! I've got my eye on a set of Gretsch drums. :o)

Are you the guy that plays the banjo and drums in TR's videos?

    Gretsch'n

  • The guy on banjo and drums is Hugh. I am the one on the Gretsch Electromatic on the Dont Think Twice video and on the acoustic guitar which was built by Tony's son.//Phil

  • Oh, that's right. TR told me he was going to tell his friend that does finger picking on the guitar about my music! Sorry, I forgot!

    Gretsch'n
