there's a reason we havnt imported them into Australia for 90 years as it isn't because were scared your apples are tastier it's Because your apples have the potential to wipe our industry out overnight.I will be picketing any imports into Tasmania and hope Coles and woolworths hold true to their promise not to stock them.I love everything about new zealand but the risk of fireblight isn't worth the political correctness of importation.keep fireblight out of Australia.:-)
