i see it has the old rci fequency stability issue? and if it's putting out that amount of juice at the rear it's little wonder it drifts as it must be producing some serious heat.
Like the look of this rig. i currently have a Maas DX5000 10 meter that is tuned for UK 11 meter. It also has low and high band and creeps into the 10 meter bands.
I would like this rig for home use if anyone could advise me on how to convert it for UK 11 meter. if your not aware we have a very strange 11 meter frequency range and our chanel is 27781.25 unlike the EU and USA being 27185 so i need to kknow if it will convert to UK frequencies
Nice radio, I have one of these and want to install it in my truck, did you have to extend the power leads, the leads that come with the radio are fairly short and won't reach directly to to battery?
@dirtycaty yes I went to a Car Audio store here in town and got longer Wire. It was almost as big as the Wires that come with it. I however need to find a Better ground. I am getting a little Engine noise, but nothing too bad.
great lookin ranger/don't wanna bust your balls but i have a galaxy 55v peaked&tuned with a monkey made antenna i can talk from one end of delaware to the other!

I got th ffc4, I could do 30 ml out easily ! They are really powerful radio top notch ! Put your money where your mic is lol
