I tried these and the turtle beach x41's and although these were very good. I always felt i had to be TOO careful with them becaues of the easy-snapping issue. Same if not better sound quality from the x41's and its a wireless headset so you dont any dangling cables :)

buddy overall 720s are the best headsets in the world by far and price and everything i sold my astros over 720s because of the price and the sound quality is a little bit different a40 do have tiny little bit better sound quality but adding it up it is double the price just for a little bit sound quality is not worth at all

Dude my Football Helmets had to be specially made I have not broken these headsets. You didn't hit on the flexibility of PS3 ability and using them on your Televosion or directly in to some of the new DVD Players. The sound from such movies as "I am four and the Captain America" were beyond incredible. PEOPLE I have broken a pair of the Turtle Beach X31's and they replaced them with even more brittle plastic parts. The Tritton AX 720 Gaming Headset is the real deal wish I had gotten the pro's.

You should also mention to be careful with the fiber optics cable. If you bend the cable anywhere NEAR a 90 degree angle you will break the fiber(glass) on the inside of the cable.
