ok for starters u have 9 apps on ur ipad and about 300 on ur ipod. second you have a jailbroken ipod which either screws up te ipod or slows it down. Third ur ipod one of the older generations.

so try using a 3rd gen, with as many apps as the ipad, not jailbroken. Then see which is faster

If you knew anything at all you would know that jailbreaking slows down your device. Your five-icon dock and themes are running in the background while loading pages. The iPad doesn't have that problem since it isn't jailbroken and running themes/etc. If you are gonna do a video, make sure it's legit.

Apple sux. You have to hack it (jail break it) just to get any little feature you want on the phone or ipod, since they are such control freaks. Think about it....there is a reason why "Jail Breaking" even exist. Such measures are not necessary with other Smart phones, such as the Android powered phones.

Don't have to do any of that with the Droid, cause it already does it. If not for the freedom for stuff on the Droid and the gain in momentum for the Android OS, there perhaps wouldn't even be an OS 4.0 coming. @home363 Apple and the Iphone/pad/touch is like a Prison product compared to Android. Apple decides what you can and can't do. Example...I can take my Droid and connect it to any computer based system (incluuding my PS3) and unload and upload data. With my touch I use to have, it had to be associated with Itunes and you had to authorize the computer its connected to. And on top of that, you got only 5 authorization unless you DE-authorize a computer. Iphone to PS3 is not compatible either.

The title of this video seems to presume that iPhone = iPod Touch for speed, which really isn't the case. Multiple comparisons have shown that the newest iPod Touches are faster than the iPhone 3GS.

Rather than putting a somewhat sluggish 3GS up against the iPad, see how the iPad fairs compared to the newest gen of iPod Touch. From the looks of it, there would be almost nothing in it.

well you never told us if your wireless router is a "g" or a "n" router and that does make a big difference because the ipad uses a "n" router and the iphone 3GS uses a "G" router, but i wouldn't doubt that the ipad is a little faster anyhow.

Actually, you can't compare using Internet Speed with actual speed.

Plus, you have a fucking new iPad vs an already used iPhone, you know that these things get fucking slow if you get to brim them with a lot of applications; that what happens with my iPod 2nd Gen, it takes about 1 min 05 secs to boot up, since I have 50+ apps, and I feel that I don't have much compared with other people.
