The hidden message behind Yahshua Mishiach means Yah Saves their is a time when one of the apostles asked Yahshua how to pray to the father and Yahshua told them to do it in the spirit. When Yahshua prayed to Yah he spoke to him in the spirit. I want to know why do we pray to Christ more than to the father, that's like praying to Adam instead of praying to the father Adam also was a messenger like Yahshua but the only difference is he fell due to his sin but Yahshua didn't but yet he tells us t
This is an amazing teaching! Yet as some others said below, we need to be careful that we do not love the teaching/message, more than or before the actual teacher/messenger, Jesus! We serve a living God & he is the only one who can satisfy our every need & desire. God created us spiritual beings (in his image), needing spiritual food beyond any food or material this present world can offer. It can be tough to live for God as we face worldly temptations, however the Holy Spirit helps immensely!
@desasterz I believe it is sure. Sometime I believe I am even attacked by either my own flesh & mind during dreams or by the devil himself whispering to me while I am slleping. Sometimes I wake up & feel so down , like a complete loser in everything because of things I have done etc. The Word of God is so Alive through the Holy Spirit that it is like water & food to the soul. We need it dialy to grow & also daily sometimes because we are constantly attacked spiritually . It is so easy to slip
I love this tie he's wearing, these are the colors of Estonian flag. Cool tie :) I know this has nothing to do with his message, but I just found it to be cool!
Predestined to hell because god is maniac. No god will have my reverence after threatening me with hellish pipe dreams. People say its "a choice" but it is no different than the thief who robs you with a gun at your head. Sure it's your "choice" not to be killed. God.... pull the trigger. If it was your plan all along to manipulate me, then you are not my god. This is why the bible is a work of man, because it's looney. Its not real but if it even was I would agree with Lucifer
@fetus666fang Wow thats a shame, and if thats the case then when the time comes you will cry, and gnash your teeth with lucifer in eternal torment. The choice is there, the problem is that you choose your sins over his grace and compassion, you prefer your lusts of the flesh rather then his kingdom of eternal joy and praise. I'm sorry, i wish you could hear his Word and understand, but because you are so blinded in your sin and deception, this may just be a moot point
@kewlazpewp It is not fair that if I joined everyone in heaven, I would have to also respect and love any and everyone that accepted jesus into their hearts before they died...EVEN the unjust murderer, rapist, and liar. I find it more noble for a true sinner here to say..."I have sinned and am so heavy with guilt that I must accept my punishment in hell instead of accept jesus to get away with what i have done." We do not let convicts escape jail time here on the basis that they accept jesus.
@fetus666fang Check Matthew 18:21-35. Think of it this way, if God forgives you of all you have done and is merciful, then should you not be forgiving and merciful yourself? Every sin is an offense to God, and offenses against God are larger then any offense man commits against man, so if God forgives you of your major offenses against him, shouldn't you forgive others of their minor offenses against you? Because how you judge others is how you will ultimately be judged. If you forgive, God will
@kewlazpewp I read the story, it makes sense. I think though that not many men that have done wrong here on earth can actually deserve to burn forever in eternal torment. Even not being christian and accepting jesus will make God throw you into hell even if you were a good person, while bad people who accept the christian faith on their deathbed go to heaven. That is wrong in MY eyes and I don't care what God thinks or anyone thinks. It is unjust. That's why I don't believe the christians
@fetus666fang friend... there is a difference in Christians, it says in John about Christians who get into heaven by the "skin of their teeth"... I heard of a pastor saying also that the amount of people who think about Religion, on their death bed, is so low, that in his 30 years of ministry, around 11 people have ever asked about it, on their deathbed! And there are people who say their Christians, but don't believe in the death and resurrection of Christ... God is just, God is fair
@fetus666fang Sin is sin, no matter if it is big like murder or small such as disobeying your parent. It is all contrary to God's nature and if he judged on a black and white, legalistic "did you sin or not" basis we ALL would be damned with no chance, therefore heaven would need not exist. God's grace is extended through Jesus Christ's payment, so all who honestly seek forgiveness will attain it freely as long as their new life bears good fruit as evidence.
@DeShoun116 I know you didn't mean for that comment to go to me but, I do want to comment back anyways. What you say about sin being sin no matter how offensive, is the same sin in God's eyes pushes me to shun away from godly rules because if we are all doomed unless we accept jesus, christianity and the bible then there was no choice to begin with. See, maybe I'd like to tell God, I don't agree with events in the bible sometimes and I don't want to worship your ways, so i guess I'm doomed
People speak about "Predestination"..... my take on that is we're all predestined to Hell unless we accept God's freely offered Gift of Grace by Faith in Jesus Christ.
I don't fill the 'void' with anything. I am not tainted by spiritual paradigms. Emptiness is inherent in the acceptance of being truly humble... admitting that there is no way to know the secrets of why or how we are here. Accepting the universe as non caring and "cruel". God does not speak to you. It is yourself. It is your own denial and pride that speaks into your void. That is why you are tainted, that is why your ego consumes you and drives you into your personal psychosis.
lets get over the predestination debate and start fighting for souls who cares if we disagree lets fight for Jesus and fight for souls millions of people have gone to hell all the while we arguing about stuff that no one really knows i dont think its all the way either way but something that is clear the great commission!
This is utter rubbish that piper goes on with. He has no understanding of grief and remorse over sin, brokenness of spirit, repentance and belief for the righteousness of God by the faith of Jesus Christ. All he can talk about is being "satisfied". What a crock.
@TheDav0 He doesn't only talk about being satisfied, he is stating how other people are searching for satisfaction which in Jesus Christ, you don't need to search for satisfaction because all you need is Jesus and God.
@itsclassygal4u OK...Let me explain. "Satisfaction" is more associated with either a pizza or beer commercial!. Its association is linked fully with the flesh & its desires. So the satisfaction Piper talks can only be self satisfaction in evangelical obedience, for in Christ, there is certainly no satisfaction for the flesh - in fact it is at enmity with our new man. I have seen what this man's doctrines have done to religious people - net they have no brokenness or faith for Righteousness.
In this vid, Piper makes statements that are not necessarily true. He states you are not concerned or connected enough with Jesus if you "move around" or "change jobs a lot". That is absurd. Perhaps 2K yrs ago, it may have been true, but not today. I go to company x. They make promises they then don't keep. This is COMMON today. I need to stay to pretend that means I have a "real" connection to Jesus? Hardly. Same with moving, to the extent one moves to where there is work.
@kenfo0 I think it's a generational thing. Boomers were the last generation with the expectation to work w/the same company until retirement, and trust them to take care of you . Of course to my fellow x'ers and gen-y's this is laughable! i can't help thinking it's for the best since we shouldn't be trusting in anything but God.
@ginastarke2 Trusting in God is fine. But that does not release us from Jesus law of "loving your neighbor". Loving your neighbor means you don't expect them to work harder than you do, that you don't cheat them of pay, that you don't bear false witness , etc. The modern workplace is a cesspool. People make it that way. Best wishes.
@kenfo0 Absolutely true. This is why I will never work for a small company again unless it's our own family business. Large companies at least have to be less obvious about it for fear of lawsuits -well, unless they're Walmart. it's sad but I expect "the powers that be" at my job to treat me and those I work with like we're expendable and would eliminate our jobs if they could. I feel like Benjamin the donkey in the book "Animal Farm" . I'm so thankful this life isn't all we've got!
@kenfo0 He was using that as an example of how some people keep searching for satisfaction. He wasn't saying people like that aren't concerned or connected with Jesus, he was saying they're looking for satisfaction and seeking thrill when true satisfaction and love is in Jesus Christ, not in those worldly things.
@itsclassygal4u You contradicted yourself within your post, saying exactly that with which I disagree. One must, to some extent, job hop as a mid-upper level executive. @scott9674 dude, Stop. get beyond the confinements of standing behind doctrines that divide men and begin to step forward into the Life that Christ lived. this is to everyone including myself.
Colossians 2:2b-3 "I want them to have full confidence because they have complete understanding of God's secret plan, which is Christ himself. In Him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
we are so lost without our lord and savior jesus christ.when we are hungry he feeds us, when were sick he heals us.when we are lonley he comforts us.when we hated him, he died for us.he is most righteous, king of kings who loved us when we didnt deserve it.glory to God forever !!!!!!!!!

Does it matter if you are in JESUS or not. According to PIPER people are predestined and have no choice to be in JESUS.
TiredofHype09 2 years ago
We are predestined not according to Piper, but according to the Bible.

@scott9674 dude, Stop. get beyond the confinements of standing behind doctrines that divide men and begin to step forward into the Life that Christ lived. this is to everyone including myself.
journeyousglory 11 months ago
@scott9674 You are focusing more on the message rather than on the Messanger (Jesus Christ).

@TheNewday2 Another way you could put it is "on the saving rather than the Saviour"

Piper = WISDOM
Jesus = CONTENTMENT/PEACE

Colossians 2:2b-3 "I want them to have full confidence because they have complete understanding of God's secret plan, which is Christ himself. In Him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
Any wisdom Piper has comes from Christ.

we are so lost without our lord and savior jesus christ.when we are hungry he feeds us, when were sick he heals us.when we are lonley he comforts us.when we hated him, he died for us.he is most righteous, king of kings who loved us when we didnt deserve it.glory to God forever !!!!!!!!!
