  • hmmmm so WIlliam's enlightened conclusion is:

    (1) Reiki is a business

    (2) Reiki = money

    (3) money = Reiki

    (4) Reki = energy

    (5) energy = money.

    Brilliant! Great karma William!

How DO you sleep at night?

Doesn't your guilty conscience keep you up? :-)

  • William you are a genius!

  • oh wow *smh* people shouldn't say ignorant things about what they don't know. You can actually feel the tingling or the heat, sometimes both in your hands when you are sending out the energy. I am a reiki master and I can't get enough of it! Reiki has changed my life for the better

  • Work of the Devil.

  • @CubsBears1984 Booo!! Booo!! Get off the stage!!! Reiki is one of the purest forms of the Light of God that there is. Pure Love, my friend. That's all it is. Maybe we should send you some...you could use it, buddy. L&L

  • CAN ANYONE TELL ME ABOUT HOW MANY DIFFERENT STYLES OF REIKI IT HERE IS? ALSO IF YOU MIX DIFFERENT ATTUNEMENTS ,,"FROM DIFFERENT LINES WILLTHAT CAUSE SOME SORT OF PROBLEM WITH THE REIKI WHEN YOU USE IT?

  • @TheDavidLister - It will surely not work for you as you do not have an open mind.

Once, a young doctor suggested they washing their hands before delivering babies, and more lives would be saved. It was such an outrageous idea that he lost all credibility and was kicked out of the medical society. Imagine all those nay-sayers Thomas Edison and Einstein had to put up with. Thank goodness for us they persevered!

  • @mbwwalz dear god i hope you're not comparing reiki with the greatest minds in history. thomas and alfred actually understood their science. they knew more about it than anyone. reiki has no science behind it, at all. it's purely based on people believing they're being healed. superstitious crap, and it diverts peoples attention from getting help from actual medicine, with actual results. what a tool

  • @TheDavidLister

"The chief obstacle to discovery is the illusion of knowledge." Daniel Boorstin

  • @mbwwalz how bout you turn that phrase around on yourself, it fits you better then me. (your DELUSION that you have a clue what reiki is) and how bout you make up your own arguments, and not use other peoples unrelated catchphrases. and no, knowledge, real knowledge, is usually a catalyst to discovery.

  • how can you think reiki works??? theres no never been a confirmed case where it actually healed someone. some reiki guy just tried to heal me and it was the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen.

  • @TheDavidLister healing and curing are different

  • @janicepjam no matter, someone pretending to send healing waves through their hands is not healing.

  • @TheDavidLister experience it for yourself

  • @janicepjam no thanks i am not mentally unstable.

  • The NIH has just begun scientific studies on Reiki. Every day our instruments detect more amazing things about the body. It just all takes time.

Before the '80s, breast cancer rates were low. Then they studied women, they realized how flawed their studies were. Same with heart disease.

The low rates did not mean women weren't affected, it simply meant that science had not asked the correct questions. The same is true of many "alternative" therapies.

  • @mbwwalz Do you work for the HIH? The only information I could find on these studies were that in the preliminary studies used to set up a suitable test, the participants were unable to quantitatively or qualitatively distinguish between the real Reiki practitioners and the placebo. There is no information about any further studies.

Can you be more specific about what "amazing" things YOUR instruments have detected?

  • This is such a practical, realistic and helpful video. Thank you very much for this!

  • This guy is a typical loser who is exploiting reiki and bringing shame to the profession. Nerdy idiot! Go find something else to con people with.

  • Just Experience reiki don't believe anyone, it's a cheap 4 learn 1st & 2nd lever an you have direct result's. But the level 1 ---> 2 you have to wait 3 month's. here in Greece i pay 150€.

  • People who talk about making reiki a profit business make me sick. Lets be honest every reiki healer and reiki master knows that we do not deliver results like doctors. We can use reiki for healing, however that does not mean our sessions will always work.

You should NOT charge for treatments, however if a person feels the need to give you money after the treatment that is of their own choice.

  • then you dont understand Reiki

  • Perhaps that is why i have a great reiki practice going for me.

  • I already have a reiki practice thanks

  • reiki energy is real

People who are closed and choose to firmly "not believe" will not be as receptive to it and will probably not "feel" the energy, but can still benefit, as the energy does not need to be believed in in order to heal, as it it Source Energy.

  • I just got my Reiki Master attunement today.

If any one would like a healing session please contact me. It will be free because it will help me too.

  • I know this was posted a few months ago, but I just thought to say that you really should not be gun ho when you start using reiki as a reiki master. I know a great number of reiki masters who are quick to do attunements and healing sessions as soon as they are able to, however the energy is still settling in your body and you should NOT do attunements for atleast 21 days after your reiki attunement. Personally I say wait 3 months but that is my opinion.

  • Reiki is scientifically proven to heal, not always cure. Look at the evidence compiled by Dr Daniel J Benor

  • No it hasn't. And Daniel Benor's research isn't valuable. He doesn't have a doctorate from an accredited institution and he hasn't published his research in a real scientific peer-reviewed journal.

If you want actual science on reiki, you can check out: "Effects of reiki in clinical practice: a systematic review of randomised clinical trials" by M. S. Lee, M. H. Pittler and E. Ernst.

They showed that reiki has no efficacy beyond that of a placebo.

  • Benor has compiled research, not done his own research. Reiki has changed many people's lives, they dont need the scientific proof, I certainly don't but I know it has healed me.

  • actually teddyplussplus you are wrong, Benor has compiled all the research made into Reiki to date. There are studies that show how Reiki reduces blood pressure, increases healing rate and effects the growing rate of seedlings. Please dont make comments when you dont know the full facts

  • @janicepjam you dont know the fukll facts, all the studies done by actual scientific methods proved that reiki made no difference whatsoever.

  • @TheDavidLister for those who have experienced the benefits of Reiki no scientific evidence is needed.

  • @janicepjam their just kidding themselves, if they really want to think reiki works they will think it is.

  • This should be free. You have no right to make money of of something like that .Shame on you.

  • While I don't agree that Reiki has to be free, I do agree that money shouldn't be the motivating force. Rand's internet business is very customer-unfriendly in my experience so I don't find him a particularly reliable business teacher.

  • Reiki should not be always free. If this is what you do for a living then you need something in return. It doesnt mean you charge an arm and a leg.

  • great wisdom about integrity

  • ok thank you sir for your kinds words of wisdom may the buddha`and kuan yin bless you!

  • Reiki is a fantastic modality and I love it and love giving healing treatments. I am appreciative to Mr. Rand and the many Reiki teachers that have graced my life!!!

  • christm000 have you ever had a reiki treatment,

first have a reiki treatment then you can critizis

  • excuse sir or mam, but my dying mother had reiki qi gong and bagua whatever and it did not work!!! so there!

  • I know this may be hard to hear, but sometimes healing doesn't always come in the way we think it should. Her soul may have chosen to release instead of heal the physical body. We all have lost someone we love to physical illness and we want so much for them to live, but sometimes their soul has another plan. We will be reunited later on but in the mean time we do miss them very much.

I am sorry for your loss!

    Blessings to you.

  • Mikao Usui who originated Reiki died 4 years after beginning his teaching practice. True healing methods, whatever it may be is not a means to bestow immortality, or play God over life and death. Any healer who claims such a thing is aligned with the dark side. My mother is not going to be around for much longer either but I hope I can be with her to ease her crossing when she passes over.

  • I agree with Rainbow Mystic.

We dont live for ever and when its our time it's our time.

  • The lost will follow any finger, no matter how shaky, and guess who I think is their poster boy!

  • I've had many. I began Reiki in 1989 with Carell Farmer (studied with Furumoto) and studied Master's level with William Rand. I taught Reiki for a year at the local Natural Health College, plus many years in private practice. I also produced a book on natural healing in the Niagara Peninsula on a government grant. I also studied Trager (one tutorial away from official practitioner) and chair massage with it's founder, David Palmer, who asked me to teach with him.

  • Do you do Reiki?

  • The problem with using the word "heal" is that you never have to take responsibility when nothing happens. Healing disasters and computers? Well, if you mean disasters are averted and computers repair themselves, you've probably discovered a new law of physics. You should be on the front page of Time magazine and written up in Nature and several other journals. But no, that hasn't happened because heal means everything and nothing.

  • stop balbbering and shut up

  • have you ever had a reiki treatment,

first have a reiki treatment then you can critizis

  • You've never even had a reiki treatment, have you?

  • Sorry, you sounded like a skeptic. Someone who just likes to criticize stuff he doesn't really know anything about. But I should have read you comment more carefully.

  • thank you so much for posting this video! :)

  • Great, thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks for sharing your wisdom and your skills with the online community. You are a beacon of light for the seekers.
