There have been times i've agreed with the employer and sometimes the employee/interviewee in this case i'm all for this woman her hijab doesn't interfere with her doing her job, I presume it doesn't involve the covering of her face since she shows her face in this and you can get them in different colours to match her work clothing so good for her.
follow the damn dress code like everyone else ! a private company has the right to enforce a dress code.this is why people don't want to hire Muslims, because of their "i'm more holier than you" attitude. muslims don't want to change their primitive ways.
Another great example why you should not hire a Muslim, unless you want to get sued over hurt feelings !!
I don't think any woman should be discriminated against for wearing hijab, but I will admit one thing. I could see a job not hiring somebody and it not being racist, or discriminating based on religion. A job might be scared that others will discriminate against them based on their employees choice to wear hijab, and discriminate not because of hate towards islam, but based on fear of how ignorant people view islam. I'm not saying that is any much better, but it would be a valid concern for many
The problem is that Scotland are not prepared to embrace the perfection of Islam. Surely backward Scots should learn true open mindedness as demonstrated in Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Syria .... ummmm !
its protecting modesty the hijab is not a headscarf hijab is covering from head to toe. ii i was you i would be ashamed to call myself a muslim not thinking hijab is important this fard ( Obligation in quran )
If you are talking to me I am very up-set to hear what you are saying to me because firstly I am a muslim convert and secondly I wear hijab.Thirdly maybe my comment seems against hijab but it not Im saying what is the bigg deal if a woman is wa=earing hijab.she can still perform her job the same as everyone else and also saying what the big deal to show hair?I know hijab is fard and I help muslimahs to become confident to start wearing and give them surport..
