Chaina HAS oppressed its own people. Hasnt it? there are ethnic groups who are being evicted from the land they've occupied for generations, to make way for property developments.

Not really, over 97% of all Chinese population is Han, they don't get oppressed. It the 3% minority that does get oppressed because the government wants to assimilate them to the Han population. I'm not saying i agree with what they're doing but it's not really called oppression when 97% of the population is left alone.

the 3% you are talking about get more privileges than the majority (97%). I have talked with Manchus when I was in China and they were fine, they have been prosecuted ever since the foundation of the Republic until 1978.
