And what you guys said it's true. It was my first bike. I learnt on a Yamaha XJR400 and was almost scared to ride my new toy, cause i had never tried a racer out. Within the first few meters on the bike I knew it was the right choice. Excellent handling and a 1-2 victory in the 07 races seals the deal :D

definately not good for beginners, but FANTASTIC 2ND BIKE! i rode a 250 for a year before moving up to a 2004 ZX6R (636). been riding it for 6 months and the power still surprises me once in a while. don't think i'll ever get rid of it :)

ok. for MOST people this is not a good starter bike because MOST people getting on a bike for the first time doesn't know jack about how sensitive everything is. but for those that ARE aware, this is a good starter bike. like that dude down there somewhere said, just cuz it goes fast doesn't mean you have to.

If you are a responsible rider, this can be a good bike for a beginner's bike. The ZX6R is engineered for great balance. Take the MSF Course and you'll be fine. Also that's hilarious about the guy that stated the MSRP ($8,999) as a final price for the bike. You can get a great price break now that they are trying to get rid of all the 07's to make room for the new 08 models. Congrats on the bike xxxdesigns. I will be getting one soon

i just bought mine 3 weeks ago and have 1000 miles on it already. I had an 01 zx6r before this and this bike smokes my old on ein handleing and power. I also found a mod to add 6.4 Hp super easy. All you have to do is connect 2 wires under the seat. Want more info go to my website nuscustomz . com I should have picks up soon!!! The handling with this bike is great and the ride height vs older models is much more aggresive.

It weighs 431 lbs., which is a little heavy for a 600, but it`s steering geometry and tuned chassis flex makes it the quickest steering of the 600`s. Changing direction is effortless!

It only weighs 368lbs. and even that weight is a little much for this year and size. When they were first "leaking" info on the bike they were hinting at it being only 330lbs. Either way it's an awesome bike and has super responsive steering.

I agree.. As long as you aren't an idiot a 600 makes a good first bike. The super responsive steering and slipper clutch make it easier to learn on than a lot of other bikes.
