It is hard to sell 60,000 tickets to a marching band show.
This isn't a football game, this is marching band event, and from this camera angle (top of the stadium) you cannot see the lower bowl filled with high school musicians.
This video is AWESOME. the only thing I dislike is the ridiculous amount of phasing between tubas and everyone else. The show design and the majority of it's execution is AWESOME, though.
I remember this it was my freshmen year at high school, first time of me being at U of A band day. It fucking amazing. I love seeing the Pride march, I get to see them every game for free. :D
My freshman year show it was amazing to March. Goose bumps just thinking about it. I love the Pride because theres nothing like rocking out and playing like your holding hell back at the gates.
there is now a cd of this show along with some other song from the pride and its on sale at the university of arizona bookstore and at the music building, and its called monkey feet.
omg this is the absoult best thing I have ever scene or heard. This absoulty amazing. Thats alot of talent creative dedicated indivuals. I got alot of respect for your guys please please please keep up the good work.
LOVE it! But for some reason I like the October run-through better! At least for part 1 so far. Seemed like a better tempo before and better stadium acoustics too (I thought the stadium echo in those first clips really played into the eeriness of Radiohead's style). By any means, I ADORE this 2006 show, and I am forever jealous that y'all play this music, and I can't wait to see next year's routine come together (on YouTube, of course!) :)
Fuckin' beatiful...............

It would be so unbelievably difficult to record and mix a marching band... Kudos to the sound engineer who attempts that...
