i showed my friend this and she said it reminded her of her sister Lyra who commited suicide june 20th 8 years ago. She left all her diarys to my friend so that so could know what she was going through and why she did it. The line "You say you drag me down, no one should want you now" is more or less what she wrote towards the end of the last diary.

@EMCTB Alison Sudol is amazing and talented and her lyrics can really paint an image in your mind. And some popular music is really terrible, about sex and money. But some popular songs get a bad rap because of the lyrics, because the lyrics are all metaphors and it's up to interpretation. Although Alison's songs are incredible and flawless in my opinion, they're also very descriptive and there is no confusion as to what the song is about. But she is undoubtedly beautiful and extremely talented.
