In any case I have never owned an AR and the more I check them out, the more they seem like a bunch of breakable wear items thrown together. Why so many pieces and parts and what seems to me to be over engineered. I do want to get one and maybe my opinion will change but I doubt it :P

Yeah I was the one that posted that his sights would melt. Weather you have the airsoft version or the real MBUS sights they will melt if mounted on the gasblock.

I have the MBUS sights on my rifle and love them. They are mounted on the rail however and not the GB.

Hey, here's a question non related to the video. I'm looking to build my own ar-15 over a 6-12 month period because I'm on a pretty tight budget and don't wanna blow the money on the whole gun at one time. I'm looking at a yankee hill stripped upper and it's an a3. It doesn't have m4 feed ramps and neither does the barrel I'm looking at. Will that really affect anything if I don't have m4 feedramps?

@TW94full If the barrel does have the feed ramps it's best to match up with upper that does have feed ramps. They really are not needed unless you are firing full auto.

Troys are the best. Mine are all white labeled for Noveske so they have Johns label but they are the same obviously. I like the M4 style fronts on 14.5" carbines and up, but I like the HK front on the shorties personally. I actually prefer the shorties with irons and if the sight radius is short enough you really only end up using the front sight kind of - just like you do with an MP5. That front sight design is why most prefer to run HK subguns without optics...
