I think its ridiculous to hear the false claims some of the people on this documentary make. The young activist, Syed Ahmed, says he couldn't find a job once he came back from his sponsored education abroad due to him being a Shia, but looking at most job posts in Bahrain, I find a majority of them to be Shia citizens. Take a look at companies like KPMG, E&Y, BDO, BBK, ABC, GIB, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Commerce, and on and on the list goes.

Shame on the doctors for becoming involved politically. They should treat all wounded patients, whether they are protestors or police men. The recent video of doctors celebrating in the hospital was really confusing and disgusting. These protests started out peacefully, but then they turned violent...harassing civilians and murdering poor Indian workers. What's sadder, is they are controlled by religious extremists who sit at home, while their youth are getting killed.
The way certain medical personnels behaved is not different from the police officers who beat the crap out of and tear-gassed doctors who were just doing their job, i.e. treating injured people.
I think this action from police officers triggered the reaction you speak about.
Not to mention the fact that the private hospital were forbidden to send ambulances to the round-about shown in the video, or said ambulances were prevented to access the wounded.

i lived in bahrain for 25years.they give us jobs in ministry of interior because they want us to beat shia ppl.i was feeling guilty all the time when i had to fight shia ppl cause i knew why they were fighting for their rights.i am proud of myself i resigned and i dont have to hit any innocent anymore.i am pakistani i was shurti police officer for 11 years and i apologise to all shia ppl if i ever hurt anyone.i was told to do that.i needed to survive and to support my poor family.

The majority of the shia in bahrain are arab. They don't speak farsi. They voted in 1971 for independence & Arab rule not for Iran in a referendum (google it). They are a peaceful and kind people. If you have ever been to bahrain you would know this. They only want some dignity, civil rights that protect them & fair participation in their country. Considering some of the comments below, its not hard to see how neighbouring countries view bahrain through their own sectarian prejudices.

When these protests started it had nothing to do with shia vs sunni however, they repeatedly mentioned it. this is a deceiving documentary, showing one side of the Bahraini people, there are another bigger number then the ones that want to remove the ruling family, asking for demands that were stated in a modern fashion without destroying the economy and causing fear and terror into peoples life's, aljazeera is not a legit press source, and is working for political and financial targets in the area.
i wont stick with a side, but the things that have been said in this video are not clear facts however they are theories and beliefs that differ between the Bahraini Community. I think its ridiculous to hear the false claims some of the people on this documentary make. The young activist, Syed Ahmed, says he couldn't find a job once he came back from his sponsored education abroad due to him being a Shia, but looking at most job posts in Bahrain, I find a majority of them to be Shia citizens. Take a look at companies like KPMG, E&Y, BDO, BBK, ABC, GIB, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Commerce, and on and on the list goes.

Shame on the doctors for becoming involved politically. They should treat all wounded patients, whether they are protestors or police men. The recent video of doctors celebrating in the hospital was really confusing and disgusting. These protests started out peacefully, but then they turned violent...harassing civilians and murdering poor Indian workers. What's sadder, is they are controlled by religious extremists who sit at home, while their youth are getting killed.

The way certain medical personnels behaved is not different from the police officers who beat the crap out of and tear-gassed doctors who were just doing their job, i.e. treating injured people.
I think this action from police officers triggered the reaction you speak about.
Not to mention the fact that the private hospital were forbidden to send ambulances to the round-about shown in the video, or said ambulances were prevented to access the wounded.

The majority of the shia in bahrain are arab. They don't speak farsi. They voted in 1971 for independence & Arab rule not for Iran in a referendum (google it). They are a peaceful and kind people. If you have ever been to bahrain you would know this. They only want some dignity, civil rights that protect them & fair participation in their country. Considering some of the comments below, its not hard to see how neighbouring countries view bahrain through their own sectarian prejudices.

This is a biased report that does not show the other part of Bahrainis who refused violence. Where is the other part of the story? Where are the voice of Hundreds of thousands who said NO to Violence? That is not fair for us who want to live in peace. Those are not the whole people of Bahrain, for Aljazeera to present them as such is unfair. The dialog was on the table for a very long time, they refused it and wants a regime of their own. and we totaly refuse that.

Excuse me SNOOPSN but the other side is not the government. But people who believe in reform without resorting to violence and the standstill of the economy. Al Jazeera as an international media correspondent had the responsiblity of not being biased and well it was. When these protests started it had nothing to do with shia vs sunni however, they repeatedly mentioned it. Media is a powerful and manipulating weapon and al jazeera did a fantastic job of abusing that weapon.
