I read in the rules that once the finalists are announced, people vote on the wesite for the winners. Couldn't this lead to an American Idol type skewed response?

If you visit the American Students' Fund site (above)there is a special message for all entrants that explains that we are eliminating the public voting phase this year.

The idea of this is really fantastic, I think. Character so heavily dictates the way we act, think and speak, what more fundamental aspect of ourselves (and our future selves!) is there to focus on? I'm SO interested to see what people come up with this year!
