for people who haven't tattooed before, doing it with a finely tuned good quality machine is difficult. I cannot begin to imagine how hard it would be to do a tattoo with one of these. Not to mention the hygiene issues. A good tattoo machine if you're in jail, otherwise go buy yourself a cheap machine off ebay and practice LOTS!!

liked it a lot, i've been using springs from click pens for my needles, same method you used to straiten the paper clip and the spring is small enough that i can cut different lengths and put them together and sterilize them and doesnt take much to sharpen.

next time try using beard trimmers. the motor already has like a metal button thing on it that makes the needle go up and down. and the charger sometimes has a 12-18v to run the motor.. not telling you what to do just something you can look forward to if you make another one

No, Using a powersource that exceeds the voltage of the motor. will burn out the motor. In english...If you use a 15 volt power source. And you have a 5 volt motor. It will burn out the motor. And it won't work. Like he said. Tattooing is an art all in itself. Underground artists are some of the best out there. Though I would still reccommend using real equipment. Drawing isn't the same as tattooing. A lot comes into play. Needle depth, Machine angle, Skin stretching. Etc..
