I was watching this video and for some reason I recalled one of my Management papers in business school. An essay assignment we had asked us to discuss ethical dilemmas faces by corporations in the 3rd world.

Right from the beginning we were told that corporations that have shifted production to overseas countries may be exploiting workers but that is an ethical dilemma and the workers would otherwise be starving to death. We were simply told this "fact" with little room for critical analysis.

It is so simple and rational and, when compared with the ghastly reality of the big-money spectacles the public are confronted with, it makes one want to experience a real democratic primary of that sort NOW.
