Excellent work. I think even with a relatively inexpensive camera - as long as you are prepared to take advantage of good light i.e. early morning or later afternoon -we can all improve our photographs. As a good tip never take a picture in the middle of the day - especially in the UK.

Although I think it may take a little longer to get photos as good as these! (and a good camera)
