I´ve seen Decapitated with their Original lineup in 2005. Winds of Creation, Nihility and The Negation are Death Metal Master Pieces. Right now, i wished that at least Sauron and Martin would come back to the band.
yea, the singer leaves something to be desired, but as far as the rest of the band goes, i dont know what some of you are talking about. Not tight? thats insanity. krimh or whatever his name is may not be vitek, but i seriously doubt we'll be hearing another vitek EVER so that being said, this guy is probably the best fit we're going to find for decapitated. He's more than competent, and a good fit for them stylistically. And i'm sure if he stays they'll meld together even more magically. I abs
i`ve seen them yesterday, the vocalist does to many high growls, not very Decapitated like, if he would stick to the original style would be great ... in a core-ish band would fit great, but not here
@bladeabs I think it suits very well, they're much more groove oriented than most death metal and the higher end of the vocals he has gives them more of an American groove vibe which is cool
i absolutely love decapitated, been with them for a while and loved Organic H. but man, new singer seems amateur, new album lacks those catchy breaks that just makes you wanna bang your head against a brickwall...in a good way! Covan was awesome!
I have faith in this lineup... okay I'm not that taken with the different vocal style, and I wish he'd stop throwing in shitty screams like the one 30 seconds in. But for what is essentially a new band under the weight of a well-revered name, it would be wrong not to cut them some slack. Esp with the events that brought them here
I think Vogg sounds great except for that one mistake when he talks in the mic he does fuck up a little. I definitely agree this vocalist, in no way, entertains me, andKrimh is GOOD but he can't replace Vitek unfortunately :/ but oh well I still love these guys and their new album isn't that bad i suppose
i think decapitated are a great band but this is pretty poor messy lifeless dribble...bring back Sauron \m/ maybe even a second guitarist to fill it out more live,they should be WAY tighter than this and i feel so bad for dogging on them lie this :(
@MrAdammassacre what do you think is so off about this performance? i think its pretty top notch except the vocalist. i've never liked him, i agree if Sauron came back they would be MUCH better. But it's too late now :/
@mrdeliveryman69 i just thinks Voggs playing was kinda sloppy compared to what his standard usualy is...just doesnt seem as awesome as the old Decapitated and yes we lost Vitek and it will never be "Decapitated" but it just seems so hallf assed with this line up :(

This vocalist is awesome, we all have our off days. His highs were off but I seen em before and he is insane!
