  • I just finished my first full year back at MX on my freshly restored 1983 RM250D. I'm 49 and haven't been on the dirt since 1980! Finished 2nd overall in our local vintage class here in Canada for the year!

Loved your video! Liked the way you picked them all off by being patient and making each opportunity count!

Best wishes for a safe 2010!

    VS (Vintage Suzuki)

  • You killed it man! Ride on

  • Gosh watching this video from start to your rig is getting me excited for my first race of the year in a week and a half

  • Man your quick.

  • Steele, nice video! Tough track that day. Tough on the big bores. You're right about Don Ruffin. He does look like the Bomber out there.

  • Yeah that's Don err, Mark, whatever, one very fast guy and a really great guy too!

  • Now that I looked a little more closely I can see he just disappeared. May be Barnett is doing more than building tracks these days!

  • Thanks mate but the winner actually was Don Ruffin #29 to my left at the gate, he is one VERY fast guy and I am pretty sure he had a name change whereas his former name was Mark Barnett.

  • From a bad start to the win, great ride.

  • This was on my 1977 Yamaha YZ250D, this race included a number of bikes that were not in my class. My class is 250cc & open bikes expert skill level 1975-1977 cycles, there were a few other classes in the moto, like #29 Don Ruffin on his super fast 1984 RM125 and Don is one VERY fast rider.

  • how many vintage MX machines you have????I have an RM 400 '79 with d&g exhaus pipe and silencer and with flatslide RM '84 500cc carburetor!HE RIP!!!! I have to an enduro,Cagiva Alla Rossa '83,350 four stroke! I wanna buy a cr 250 '74-'79,but i doesn't find one in good conditions!

  • Too many actually, let's see 2 1974 Honda CR250M's, 1977 Yamaha YZ250D, 4 1981 Yamaha YZ250H's, 2 1978 Honda CR250's, 5 1979 Honda CR250R's, 2 1980 Honda CR250R's, 2 1983 Honda CR480R's, then my modern bikes, 2006 Honda CRF450R and 2003 Cannondale X440. A few of my buddies race my 1978-1980 Honda's, all these bikes drives my wife nuts. :-)

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!You are luky as hell!

  • Nah, just have a few bucks to rub together.

  • Nice collection! I recently took a few pics of my dad's collection and it got put on the Racer X site, you should check 'em out. Ten bikes, half of them are Maico.
