What is Rich Perry doing,is he imposing 3/4 over 4/4?He generates some hip tension slipping between 4/4 and whatever is going through his head, what a cool solo,he is so damn good! Also what piece is he playing an FL?It doesn't look or sound like his normal Selmer SS.

Scott sounds as good to me as anyone playing today or yesterday on trumpet. Lots of history... great time...some very modern moves in a non-affected way. He's not forcing it to happen...i appreciate that!!
Scott sounded great as a freshman at Indiana University. I had the pleasure of playing in David Baker's band with him and I even helped him get his first apartment in NYC. Some trivia for you, Scott is from Denver, along with Greg Gisbert. They're basically the same age and both amazing players!
