Only advantage they had was speed, it was almost purely gun fighting, and their Mirage III aircraft were far less maneuverable than what their enemies had. Even if their enemies had equally advanced aircraft, they would still beat them easily. It would be a simple matter of skill, and the IAF is unrivaled in that.
