@ChannelLion North Korea did not host groups that launched attacks against the United States. North Korea does not have sizable oil deposits. That's why. I don't think the US generally has anything against Islam.

Note though that a few decades ago, the US was fighting on Korean soil, as part of a proxy war with the Soviet Union. Same thing with Vietnam. Neither of those had anything to do with Islam either, it was just ugly geopolitics.

You can expect that Israel will do its best to inspect everything that goes into the area, particularly given Hamas's stated intend to keep importing weapons. When the activists on the floatilla attacked IDF forces, IDF responded (inappropriately) harshly, and that's why 9 were killed. It was not execution-style; you're misinformed.

Syria should've let Dorothy Parvez in to report. She's a reporter for a news org.

@weissman2000 I am aware of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I am not criticising them for their attempts to arm themselves, nor am I criticising Israel for trying to keep weapons from them. The floatilla raid has to be seen in that context; not only innocent flower-bearing people feeding kids (as you framed it initially), but in the backdrop of arms struggling and struggles over land.

Syria doesn't really believe Parvez to be an Israeli spy. It just doesn't want honest reporting.
