  • Any asain ladies from Chicago ?

  • crazy...

  • this is just plain sick,

  • it all starts with, its not alive.

its already dead. its moving = reaction from the salt or w/e?

  • @iAnimeChicky I don't think it's alive either, at least I hope so.

It still is rather distastefull if you ask me (but that's just me). I wouldn't want to see my meat move like that... I don't really like to think we treat food that way. Of course it's only natural to feed from other animals, just like nature made us.

But this is something different, asian country tend to have that sort of sick stuff when it comes to food. In my opinion this is wrong, but again : that's just me ^^

  • @startide go visit american meatfabrication and tell me again that the asians are the ones who are sick. I mean yes they are but the way we "grow" chickens is absolutely disgusting as well. There's a whole lot of western specialties actually that are rather fucked up, for example is it totally normal to cook a lobster alive or to forcefeed geese so they get a fucked up fat liver. quite sick if you ask me, but maybe thats just me...

  • @blafuckyou I didn't say it was exclusive... but they collect rather many odd specialties in Asia no matter what. Mostly stuff that serves no purpose but making people think eating that stuff is sacred or will get their dick hard.

We don't hunt banned species, unlike japanese who keep up butchering sharks and stuff for example. And yes there is plenty of room for improvement in France, USA and many other countries. No doubt. !

  • in america, they take out all the baby roosters that are born and throw those live babies into a large blender. and guess what happens next! yep, they straight up just turn on the blender. why? simply because there isnt enough profit. theyre not worth the effort to keep alive. yep, we definitely have good purposes for the fcked up things we do.. -___-

  • @popitsuckit1 Your point ? Americans are idiots so your entitled to be too ? I love how people are now using that kind of comparison as an excuse for any crap they do.

Sounds like 5 years old : yes I pushed him, but before that he stole my candies and you said nothing... Tsss.

  • @startide er, im actually american too -___- lol. and first of all, YOURE the one comparing western cultures with eastern cultures. read your comments to blafuckyou. im just refuting your little naive idea that "westerners dont do anything that serves no purpose." also, i said nothing about agreeing or disagreeing with this video/form of food, so please dont go around assuming things because it just makes you look like an illiterate ass.

  • @blafuckyou I mean, the fat liver for the geeses has a purpose : it's good to eat. This think on the video has a purpose too : it's entertaining. I guess you see the difference.

Man has to kill animals to feed from them (just like animals kill each others too BTW), and sometimes we even do that in an unhuman fashion to make it tasting better. I still think that making that stuff for some awkward old believe that it will make you a great lover is plain moronic and barbaric though...

  • I'm japanese,but I've never never seen that cruel meal. I can't eat it.

of course, Not all japanese eat dish such as it was remained living.

    I

  • the sodium ion in the soy sause is stimulating the nerve impulse in the squid, it's beheaded, it's dead. just so you know. still, pretty messed up though lol

  • It's not alive, it's had its head removed. all the auto nerve systems are still just intact and automatically reacting to stimulus.

it's like a crab's arm will move on its own for a while even after it's removed from the main body.

  • ah !!! hedie ! hedie hedie !!!!!

  • Omg this made me so horny.

  • soy sauce activates the neurons of a dead squid causing it to "dance/move" ...

  • ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE @!!!!! How can someone be that cruel ?!?!

  • @Roshk26 for one thing its food, it may be cruel to you but to another culture its just sustenance , and another thing...its dead before it hits the bowl if you actually look at the squid it has no head...its the salt in the soy sauce that makes it twitch, like salt on a slug

  • @rivetrik First of all, this morbid "show" is by no means a method of sustenance for any culture at all, it is just a sadistic marketing scam to popularize a certain local restaurant that invented it. If it would be just sustenance, then they could kill and eat the squid without the torture routine.

Secondly, i don`t argue with you that it may be dead (or on the verge of dying) but the physical reaction of the poor animal proves that the it is suffering nonetheless. Please be more human..

  • @Roshk26

".........physical reaction of the poor animal proves that it is suffering nontheless"??

the squid is dead, the tentacles move the way like a tail that's detached from a gecko. same thing happens to frogs legs. they still switch if stimulated.

not saying that u'r ignorant but.........there's no suffering involved. the squid suffered when they first killed it which took maybe half a second.

  • @Roshk26 where in the hell did you get that it was a marketing scam? source please? and why would you be concerned about food? i mean really ITS FUCKING FOOD, the same shit happens when you put salt on anything fresh, its the sodium reacting to the nerves in the body, and without the brain how can it suffer? would you condemn other animals for eating things alive?, the only difference is we make it look nice and put soy sauce on it....

  • @rivetrik Firs of all, please follow this link to see that this "show" is a marketing tool :

Also, I would appreciate if you could mind your language.

Indeed, it's food, and i also eat meat, i am not either vegan nor vegetarian. However, i do not like seeing my beat being killed, or any gruesome show with it shortly after being killed

  • @rivetrik First of all, please Google this to see that the "show" is a marketing tool : dailymail.co.uk >> Shocktopuss-Horrifying-moment-squid-comes-life-jumps-plate

  • "the cells inside them are all still intact. The biochemical machinery still functions. There is still a source of energy for the muscles in the form of unused ATP molecules stored in the cells. All that the muscles need is something to activate them and they can still contract and relax (until they run out of ATP or something else shuts down the biochemical machinery)."

  • is it dead or alive.. ? im getting confuse lol idk how do you eat it while its still moving.

  • @ibankia Dead, bro.

  • @ibankia no it's dead, notice it has no head. haha. the bodies cells are still intact because it's freshly killed there in the restaurant and it's reacting to the salt in the soy sauce. so even though it's moving it can't feel it or anything.

  • @JacquesZupp

Why are you just commenting on all of these videos, like an ignorant troll.

  • watch?v=iFeNc9xrYi8&feature=youtu.be

    chopped fresh squid, still move.

  • eating fish alive is a proof of freshness, very appreciated by Asians.

Do not judge if you do not know their customs and way of life and thoughts.

A word to the wise ...

  • @Zukra0

    Hey Zukra0

I'm an Asian but I do not like eating fish alive.

There are 47 countries and over 3.8 billion people in Asia so please don't generalize them all.

Some Asians might appreciate this but not all..........
