Hey Dan, I really like your videos and I one hundred percent agree with your views on both GR: FS and the new (and I use the title loosely) BIA. I'd like to know what your Xbox LIVE Gamertag is. Is it the same as your Youtube handle or do you go by something different?

Also, what branch are you in? I run an Xbox LIVE, Marine Corps based, Military Simulation unit on Xbox called the Band of Marines. We're also allied with an Army MilSim unit led by a former MP in the Army called SDO.

From out Holland,I was looking with great expectations forward to the Ghost Recon Future Soldier Game.But now I saw the GRFS gameplay at the E3 I was so bad in shock from the new GRFS gameplay,that I almost forgot to breathe in and to breathe out and my heart almost stopped,I thought to myself they are shown a new ghost recon game for the first Xbox,because the GRFS Gameplay what i saw was so f#ck#ng bad! Ubisoft so far.. .you are making already a lot of GR gamers deeply disappointed!

i am disgusted with randy pitchford for what he has done to bia. rth30 and eib inspired me and two mates to get in a car and drive the 800+ miles to nomandy from the uk, to pay respect to the soldiers who fought there. bia 4 just shits on their graves it makes a mockery of them and on the 67th anniversary of d day. inglorious bastards was a shit movie as well.

Really, Far Cry 3 was the only part worthy of attention. It looks immersive, intuitive, cool, the cover-system look-alike is not some bullshit "I've got my back to the ennemy and I can see past corners without looking" thing. No, if they don't fuck it up in between, this could actually be a good game.

Ubisoft is a just getting less and less relevant every year. I have to say though, being a fan of Far Cry, I did like FC3. It was a unique approach to a basically near death game, at least on the Xbox.

I've lost all faith in GR Future Soldier....

@Pumba70 Yeah I got that poster from a British gaming magazine called Games Master that I picked up coming home on leave from Afghanistan in Ireland. It's actually a pretty neat poster. =) Far Cry 3 definitely does look pretty cool and is about the only thing I REALLY liked at the conference.

The "gunsmith" in Ghost Recon looked really good, much more realistic than Army of Two, no putting AR front ends on SCARs and the like. But yeah, game play wise, the thing looked horrible and, like you, it reminded me a lot of SOCOM 4. This is just nit picking, but I also found it funny that the characters were wearing less gear than GRAW. They literally wear "this gen" gear and totally lost all the Ub3r c0ol 1337 CRYE Precission jazz, a "downgrade," in favor for some CIRAS looking bit.
