@xAwakeTheDeadx not sure but reforge any stats you dont need to balance if. otherwise for example if u got 155 parry and 10% dodge reforge the parry into dodge to blance

So is there a haste cap? I've been doing 18k+ and after I got my haste up to 73.15% my dps has been getting worse and I'm doing 14k or lower. expertise is capped and my hit is at 7.92 with a hit miss of .08 and mastery is at 13.39.

Instead of having 2 points in Improve Frost Presence, I put them into Chillblains. It's pointless to have them in there if you play in Unholy Presence.

I figured out all these things b4 this vid but you're 100% right. I pull18-22k dps pending on the fight. I mean the proof shows if u watch his meter he pulls 14k....not bad in that crappy gear he's got on.

now i havnt played ina few months, but since frost pres generates RP faster,which you need for frost strikes while waiting for runes to cooldown, why use unholy? I never stacked mastery>haste and never used unholy pres when i played my frost dk and my dps seemed higher that way...

The reason you weren't doing 16k was because you forgot to put up frost presence.

Personally i think it is better to wait for obliterate because it does a bit more damage than frost strike but whatever you want tbh... What addons do you use also?

Sometimes when I use obliterate it only hits with one of my 1h weapons, or at least that's what it shows, why is that? Also what is a good haste cap if there is ant?

@FanOfKnives100 u still get 4% runic power regeneration from the frost while in unholy... also ppl dont forget that its not the extra 10% haste but also the lower gcd in unholy that makes it so good.. ur able to burn off the runic power with frost strikes so much easier

I've read a lot of the comments and the vid is good but you can get an extra 5k damage out of your spec - here's how...

...Summon your ghoul! The best time to do this is when you've seen lots of procs go off and you've used your STR cooldowns as it takes a 'snapshot' of your stats when summoned. This may have been mentioned in an earlier comment but there's pages of them. Give it a whirl, it works wonders for me...

yeah in heroic you do more because of the buff it gives you when you group with randoms. Unlike most of death knights, I feel my DPS is higher in frost presence for an obscure reason!

Your hit cap in Frost DW is only 5% u get +3 in talents anything extra your wasting it. You should be able to oblit for avg 38k and crit 48k is typical for me my friends 2hnd crits for 50-53k. Do not dps in frost presence unholy only. Its key to get back position attacks it really increases your dps on reg hits front side your reg's will miss alot more.

Uhm sir you are completely wrong you have to be proactive as death knight, you can not wait for the obliterate you will end up doing less damage, because you will lose runes for howling blast. I pull 14k - 24k dps in za / zg in zg around 30k because of the buff, back to my point you will end up doing more damage with frost strike because the obliterate damage is on par with it it's not really a huge upgrade from frost strike. and you didnt show anything for aoe, use HB PS Pestil DND FS for aoe
