Try reforming the tort system then we will see if underfunded, ill conceived financially irresponsible legislation is necessary. My daughter's pediatrician pays more for malpractice insurance (with no claims against her) per year than many Americans earn in the same time frame. What impact might that have on her office rates?

OMG infant mortality is a ratio based on the number of deaths for every 1000 live births. It doesn't matter that the usa has a higher population. It means on average more infants die per 1000 live births then the other compared countries. 6.8 deaths in the usa to canada's 5.3. Wow canada's seems high to me.
