GreenPois0n will be making a "Semi-tethered" for the first half of the version. Semi tethered as in u can go out and in with the regular apps u have.. But then say u got apps from cydia then u wud have to plug into the computer to use them. Like i said before, u can unplug ur ipod touch from the computer but is unable to use the cydia apps till returned to a computer. Then later in the future there will be a fully released version. That is when Greenpois0n is fully UN-TETHERED as what we want.
Hey. I jailbroke my ipod touch 2nd gen 8GB yesterday and installed cydia icy and rock. Icy works fine like ever, cydia doesn't know which version i have and rock is only free for ten days ... I downloaded winterboard but it doesn't work... Sbsettings too... Installous works. If it continue beeing like this and the bugs in cydia wont be change i dont recommand the 3.1.2 jailbreak. On 3.0 with the jailbreak everything worked fine :(

@ipodtoucher15 yes u can use blackra1n update to firmware 3.1.2 then restore then use blackra1n and then click on the blackra1n icon on ur ipod then install cydia then ur done but it will be tethered which means if u reboot ur ipod u will have to use blackra1n again (not respring,Reboot)
you can search google for custom firmware 3.1 and just use itunes on windows now and jailbreak or you can wait a week or so maybe and use GreenPois0n. be subscribed to see how when GreenPois0n is released!
Some1 help me i have 3.1.2 AND i dont know if i should update to 4.2,i've looked up 4.2 tutorials but lots of comments say 4.2 doesnt work?
