All time favorite would have to be 'Imperium' from TTAOE, and then pretty much every song from The Blackening.

I had never heard of Machine Head until I saw them with Lamb of God, Gojira and Trivium last year. By the time their set was done, I was yelling "Machine-Fucking-Head" right along with everyone else. That was the most intense shit I've ever seen in my life. I'm not a huge Trivium fan, but Lamb of God, Gojira and Machine Head fucking delivered. I love these guys, and I'm so glad that there's a fresh, new perspective on metal through so many bands now-a-days.

I went to see L.O.G. and MH and Trivium when they were here in Ohio. I got there expecting to miss Trivium's gay show and MH was just starting. I was so pissed that Trivium came on after them??? Trivium doesn't deserve to hold Rob's spit bucket!!!! I watched MH do four or five songs and then i left before Trivium. Wanted to see Lamb of God, but was so pissed i didn't care. Pantera and MH are the two best live bands ever...........

if i heard the blackening in 95 it would have been less good than BME. In 2006 there is just better competition like As I Lay Dying Unearth, KSEm Chimara etc and the blackening is just old. Even though they dont wanna be metalcore or whatever they didnt move with the times, They struggled at album 2 after Kontos and Logan left and never recovered.
