all you need is to replace the two plastic retaining pins which you can get for cheap at any auto parts store, auto zone, oreillys, advance, they will all have them, thats it!!!
Take that piece off and give it a little bend. It is made out of metal that can easily be bent back into shape. Play around with it until the window rolls down and up smoothly and make sure that it is sealing around the weather striping.
Have the same car replaced both sides for $40.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up having the dealer adjust the window. It cost about $150.

Perhaps the rubber is gripping too tightly when it moves downward. Use some Vasoline so it can glide over easy behind that spot.
