Why Google never shows the Poles? What is hidden there?

@sinoples That is actually an excellent question. Many times the poles are not shown because map images are laid out on a lat/long grid and those grids converge at the poles. This makes for tricky computer code. Another reason is that the available imagery just isn't as good. Finally, many maps are Mercator projections and those can't show the poles at all!
