This one song, although I can't say I've discovered its meaning, is one of my favorites. The pure emotions I can relate too is unexplainable.

@Dihital its meaning bascily in its final notes......ashes and diamonds... for and friend.. we were all equal in the end.... meaning.. it took all this destruction and whatnot to get us to remind oursellves of HOW equal we all our... the same blood and bones here and all over this planet...we all ARE equal.. its just todays society is about money, and appliances you dont REALLY need, and that signifies a Class, despite the basic assembly of this entire "process"

@waffleone3 Actually Waters is refering to a nuclear fallout I believe. "the sun is in the east even though the day is done" refers to the flash from an atomic bomb. Listen to the rest of the lyrics. "as the windshield melts and my tears evaporate......leaving only charcoal to defend".....
