  • 1000*

  • LIAM NEESON

He saved over 100 Jews from the Nazis.

    He trained Obi-Wan Kenobi.

    He trained Batman.

    He led the A-team.

He saved Narnia from the White Witch.

He is Zeus, who led the gods against the Titans.~ TAKE THAT, @badfoody!!!

  • the one thing i truly learned from batman begins was not the reason why we fall, or which part of us matters, but to rub my chest cus my hands will take care of themselves. always works :)

  • I wanna get into ninjitsu someday... Become a Ninja vigalantee

  • WELL NO DUH BATMAN NEVER LOSES A FIGHT...who was trained by a Jedi Master!!

  • @MidnightGrunt Well no duh!!! Batman never loses in a fight cause HE'S BATMAN. Not cause he was trained by the one who dies in Episode 1

  • @badfoody but the one who died was a jedi master..so clearly you repeated what he said for no reason.....

  • @west93 Pie

  • @badfoody lol yea exactly

  • haha everything rahs al goul says in this movie is stuff sinestro would say if he was training hal jordan! so awesome

  • You know how to fight six men, we can teach you how to engage six hundred.

  • The pitch is slightly higher in this.

  • love this scene..

  • 181 humans know, what is good scene .. 2 idiots are blind and deaf, because who will see and will listen this Batman wonderful and thruly scene, can't click to Didn't like !

  • Hollywood two most badass actors in one scene. What could be better? If the scene music was composed by Hans Zimmer. Oh it actually is... Love you Chris Nolan!

  • yeh thats why ninjitsu includes distractions^^

  • are you alowd to fart as a ninja?

  • i hope talia al ghul appears in the dark knight rises

  • the bit where Neelson says 'it was your father's' gives me goosebumps

  • Wow Patrick Bateman must be getting some pointers here

  • same batman as the dark knite

  • masterwork

  • when he talks about his wife makes me sad, even though this was years before his liam neesons real wifes death, its almost shows his pain.

  • when i first saw this movie i didnt even think it was batman lol cuz in batman movies they never showed how he became batman they just get strait to the plot

  • Bruce Wayne may not have liked it, but the way he fights crime makes him truly a member of the League of Shadows. Ras Al Ghul was not wrong in making him.

  • i know this is just a movie but everything that was said in this scene is so damn true in the real world

  • 3:37 "Your anger gives you great power, but if you let it, you will be turned to the dark side of the force".

  • api!

  • You ave learn to berry your guilts with anger

  • Darkman training Batman........AWESOME!

  • i watch this scene for the soundtrack, and liam neeson.

  • i love the location of the film

  • the training is nothing, the will is everything...brilliant line

  • @cr33pyGamer Bats may be considered blind, though they have reasonable sight..probably outweighed in balance with their sonar, relying more on what they hear..but the deaf need to know...we feel this and it may strike the soul, but they might be without an answer, like they just don't yet know.

  • The first half of this film, especially the training sequence with score was exceptional.

  • 2 people sacrificed sure footing for a killing stroke!

  • The League of Shadows doesn't exist....but it should.

  • @seeingsights I would join in a heartbeat and I would be totally loyal to Ras. He does what has to be done. Bruce is such a traitor.

  • @Hellblazer311 I GUESS THATS WHY YOUR NOT THE BATMAN EH

  • @seeingsights Let's base one. Truly. I have a fight on friday. That'll be the beginning of my career. A bully. An easy target. Join me. All around the world!

  • @seeingsights maybe you should start the league of shadows

  • @seeingsights thats what they want you to think

  • @seeingsights how do u know :D

  • 2 people don't have the will to act.

  • amazing how nolan explained how bruce became batman! The training, even the bat suit makes 100% sense. He made batman seem realistic in a real world.

  • @imperial3232 Now all we need is someone batshit crazy enough to do all this.

  • @imperial3232 The idea of Batman is real. He will never die. Even if Bruce Wayne dies, someone with the same heart and intentions will carry on the mantel of the bat.

  • @imperial3232 Nolan even explained the rumor of Ras Al Ghul ''immortality''. It is not the individual that's immortal, but the NAME. The name, or should I say title, is passed on from person to person, thus creating the legend of the immortal Ras Al Ghul. The asian at the beginning of the movie, however, was simply a fake, protecting the identity of the true holder of the name.

  • ninja rap

  • I don't care what anyone says, this movie is far better then The Dark Knight...

  • @BatmanVsTwilight

    I agree. It's a superb movie.

  • Thumbs up if you love Liam Neeson! long live TAKEN!

  • @Joekr15 Liam Neeson is one of my favorite actors =]

  • @startingsprinter He is my favourite :)

  • i really liked heath ledger as the joker, he was a very good villain but i have to say Liam Neeson as Ras Al Ghul is the bets villain ever, superb :)

  • @Tardisspoilersuk Controversial villain...he IS fighting bad guys...he's just crazy...

  • This movie inspired me to be a go-getter and personally develop myself. It all starts from inside. Also I'm very lucky to have mentors in my life to teach me now to create wealth and add value to other people's lives.

  • Liam neeson is back for THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, for me, he is the PERFECT REPLACE for heth ledgers joker

  • the training is nothing......the will to act is everything!

    how true..

  • the 2 people who disliked this dont have the will to act

  • Fucking epic, this is the sort of film scene that can change your whole mindset. Only question is, why don't I have this film on dvd yet....it's bloody worth it.

  • I never thought about it but Batman IS pretty much a ninja in a bat suit...

  • @tehkao actually, he's a ninja-detective in badsuit.

  • @snatchX626 i mean batsuit.

  • Invisibility is quite the contrary to what Bruce becomes, when he is Batman. The only thing that is invisibility for Batman and not Bruce, is feelings or the mask. There is a big difference between Bruce and Batman, they R both alter egos. Who Bruce really is perhaps died in his childhood, but what Batman stands for will never end. All i know is that i hope for lovestory in the next Batman movie...

  • @JJanerique I dunno...have you ever read any batman comics? There is no such thing as a "batman love story" that doesn't end in death, tragedy, or betrayal. You might want Bruce to be happy...but no chance that it doesn't end poorly for the girl.

  • Who hasnt wanted to learn ninjutsu?

  • I have always wanted to learn Ninjutsu.

  • Always mind your surroundings.

  • I want a pair of those arm guards. Any suggestions, anyone?

  • excelente escena

  • about LIFE

Real Men ACT they never hesitate

    I am fearless.

real men are unafraid to live by passion

  • Can't wait for Nolan to finally finish the story...anyone hoping for Talia to make an appearance?

  • 1 person doesnt have the will to act

  • Comment removed

  • No joke, the first time after seeing this, I felt if someone had me at gunpoint, I wouldn't be afraid and I'd have the will to act.

  • This scene alone was better than any scene in 'The Dark Knight' by fucking FAR. THIS is what got me into Nolan's Batman universe.

  • batman is da shit

  • Villans for third movie are released. It's going to be epic!!

  • Criminals thrive on the indulgence of society's understanding... their arrogance OFFENDS me.

  • @anadus7 please explain?

  • @Guerillaradio13 /watch?v=2VGoc8Wq5Zk

  • This moment was a defining moment in the film. It prompted the transformation of a man into a symbol

  • .......the will to act.

  • "The training is nothing, WILL is everything" You'd all be suprised how fitting this statement is when it comes to irl street brawl.

  • @Ithelios were you surprised when a midget kicked your ass then?

  • fuck you for not lettting me get the embed code

  • great actor and music

  • so epic!

  • Liam Neeson has the coolest and most epic voice in the world..

  • @ochahane In Fallout 3 he voices your dad<3

  • @ochahane No thats Christopher Lee, but Liam Neeson is a close second.

  • "Criminals thrive on the indulgence of society's understanding."

    Incredible level of wisdom

  • After the three piece of shit batman movies (Batman Returns, Batman Forever, Batman and Robin)....I was skeptical about Batman Begins being any good as the first Batman with Jack Nicholson, oh boy was I proven wrong!! Thank god for that! Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are my two favorite movies ever!!!! THANK YOU CHRISTOPHER NOLAN!!! AND THANK YOU FOR INCEPTION!!!

I almost forgot what good movies were like...

  • @lurchipoo Haha Amen, I feel exactly as you do.

  • @lurchipoo ou think ledger, eckhart, and bale are better then?

  • The music makes this training scene epic!

  • @tubenachos yeah your right i wonder who wrote this do you know?

  • 1:31 thats not even sparring anymore!

  • @xXSparky117Xx ive got a question, what did ducard mean when he said,

i will teach you to confront it and to face the truth!!!

  • Uplifting, Inspirational, Chilling, Remarkable.. This whole scene is Eternal.

  • I love this part of the movie.

  • I have perfect pitch and this music is a note and a half higher than the original movie. Seriously, watch it and compare

  • Liam Neeson Proved He Trained Batman In The Movie Taken

  • @07liberian LOL! definetly

  • I love the comment he makes about his father.

  • i loved this movie since the first time i saw it.. 3 years later i was fucking amazed of what i had in front of me when i went to see THE DARK KNIGHT. i wish relationships were like this two movies man

  • Liam Neeson Is the TRUTH! xD

  • Liam Neeson , Northern Irish junior heavyweight champion and so and modest with it.

  • Liam Nelson is a good actor. This is my favorite scene in Batman Begins.

  • @klasco1991,yes ofcourse you can.but, you can't factor that in to any situation.luck,it's either with you,or not.

  • Training is nothing! Will is everything !!

  • Liam Neeson is pretty awesome and this scene just proves as one of the reasons why he's awesome. Also, I like they showed people a look at a true martial art in Ninjitsu. A martial many may want to considering taking in the near future if they know anything that's really going in the world today. ;)

  • I LOVE THIS PART OF THE MOVIE!!!! Favorite SCORE in it !!!!.

  • the will to act,is necessary, but not enough.a good general knows when to fight, how to fight,to understand his enemy.yet to know yourself, and what drives you, only then can you begin to understand others.you must be the full package.

  • @bluemax1990 you can be the full package and killed by a lucky shot

  • ".... But I know the rage that drives you... That impossible anger strangling the grief until the memory of your loved ones just poisoning your veins.... And one day you catch yourself wishing the person you loved had never existed so you'll be spared your pain...."

  • "....But I know the rage that drives you.... That impossible anger strangling the grief until the memories of your loved just poisoning your veins.... And one day you catch yourself wishing the ones you loved had never existed, so you'll be spared your pain."

  • RA'S ALGUL IS THE BEST BATMAN character

  • "I wasn't always here in the mountains. Once, I had a wife. My great love. She was taken from me. Like you, I was forced to learn there are those without decency... who must be fought without hesitation, without pity. Your anger gives you great power. But if you let it, it will destroy you...as it almost did me."

  • @Axelwater that line is awesome

  • @Axelwater congratulations kid, you can type a quote. fucking brilliant.

  • Comment removed

  • Can you imagine being 1/10th as awesome as Liam Neeson? I can't.

  • The Dark Knight was outstanding and the Joker was so amazing. But I feel that Ras Al Ghul should be considered the quintessential antagonist in the Batman series as he is an anti-hero rather than a villain. The Joker was simply addicted to death and destruction and had no real ideals or motives. Ras has a true purpose and his intentions are for the betterment for the mankind and also challenges what Bruce truly wants to accomplish. the dynamic between Batman and Ras/the league is more realistic.

  • Your argument about what ras is vs joker isn't really how you should define the quintessential antagonist. If batman is supposed to have a purpose and a force of good outside the confines of the law. The joker actually resembles batman in that hes evil outside the usual economic motives of evil. His destructive chaotic nature is also contrast to batman's system of rules. Just cuz you might like ras as a badguy more, doesn't make him a better badguy, just a diff kind. Joker is like carnage.

  • I think Ras survived the crash at the end of the first movie. He's always paid attention to his surroundings.

  • Ras is the main batman villain. He is his nemesis throughout the comics and tv series. Joker, riddler, penguin, etc, those are all sideshows.

I really hope Liam Neeson comes back in the bext batman flick

  • Theres no doubt about it, everyone loves a training montage!

    Excellent scene and dialogue.

  • Does anyone know tha name of the musical piece that is performed while they are doing this training scene? I don't seem to find it anywhere, it's just brilliant!!!!!! :))

  • @bambinatender : you can find it on the Batman Begins soundtrack Album or you can simply type in on youtube : Batman Begins soundtrack - Eptesicus << weird name for a song buts definatley it :) reply if you need help on downloading it :P

  • TBLACKOUT17923

  • @bambinatender , do you need help to download it or is it all good?

  • Eptesicus....it's the name of the track on the Batman Begins soundtrack. It's a species of bat. All the tracks on the soundtrack are named after bat species...

  • @rocktown61201 I never knew that. Thanks for the info dude. Hans Zimmer is amazing, Hans Zimmer + Christopher Nolan = Epic win.

  • Neeson's line about the character's great love sounds so tragically ironic...

  • This scene is one example of the many reasons Liam Neeson has become my favorite actor. He's even better in the scene where he burns the mansion down. Also, the movie "Taken" would have been crap without Neeson.

  • He also made The phantom mentace somewhat more bearable..

  • "I wasn't always here in the mountains...I once had a wife, my great love!"

Truly an amazing line and delivery!

  • As Batman Begins is the story that introduces Batman, I thought Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are equal in all aspects.

I consider both films to be exceptional.

  • This movie was so much better than The Dark Knight.

It had a background, a villain who had a purpose and intent and far more fluff in it's 'extraordinarity'

  • @ScilusVacilius Yeah I liked it better simply because of this training part. I'm a big fan of martial arts. The Dark Knight was great though.

  • Neeson was such a good pick for Ra's. I love how the League of Shadows is worldwide; they're European, Asian, African, Arabian. What unites these men is not a nationalism or religion, it's the conviction that the use of violence must be absolutely limited to preventing the use of violence. All the guys you see in this movie lost someone I'm sure. When Neeson speaks the word "taken" you just know that there's a lot of horrible torture entailed in what he's talking about.

  • this scene is truly moving and outstanding; one of the best

  • Liam Neeson and Christian Bale were outstanding in the training scene(s) and given that Bale trained in Keysi....I agree.

  • All we need is the rocky theme playing.

  • fuck that rocky's training montage pale in comparison to this.

  • this movie redeemed Batman movies

  • now, they need something for those x-men(logan saga) shit flicks.

  • for certain this almost makes me forget about batman forever...

  • yeah but I'm not sure ANYTHING can make me forget about the batsuits with nipples...

  • @RyanEdge lmao

  • Great scene. One of the greatest movies ever.

  • When I first watched this scene, I knew this was going be a great movie. Everything is just so perfect!

Funny thing is that I watched Dark Knight first and then Batman Begins. And while DK is a great movie, something about BB is special.. I can always watch Batman Begins, and never get tired of it. And I always watch it from this point. :)

  • The film shows u maybe that even someone like u could be Batman. (Anyway, it showed me)Christian Bale also describes that in one of his interviews.

I've watched this movie 40 times...

  • I knw right? : D ( about the alwAYS being able to watch batman begins) i really like the training part for some reason.

  • I love it when Ra's tell him: Anger does not change teh fact that your father failed to ACT!!!

  • 'And one day, you catch yourself wishing the person you loved had never existed so you'd be spared your pain.'

So true and recognizable for me... unfortunately...

  • "Your training is nothing! Your will is everything!" I get chills every time I hear that, I watch it every morning lol. When I am lazy or am tired from working very hard, I hear Liam Neeson's voice in my head :)

  • Ra's Al Ghul's Teachings In This Film Are Incredible, I Wish I Had A Mentor Like Him

  • i just got fallout 3 2 days ago and i didnt know that Liam Nesson is the voice of my father :P

  • SPOILER

Neeson's character is revealed as Ra's Al Ghul, an immortal in the comics - I just love that this ninja commune has a timeless feel - this could be medieval times or last week.

  • @BoonyBanny If he is immortal does that mean he could come back in the 3rd movie? I thought he died, but perhaps Talia could make an appearance.

  • @jazzmatik I always thought that he was immortal because if Ra's Al Ghul died someone else would take his place and carry on his name, and because he's a mysterious figure no one knew what he looked like. It makes more sense to me, although i don't know about in the comics.

  • @BoonyBanny

This is the BEST scene in any Batman film

when Ras dies does he assume a different body or the same 1???

Immortal me4ans you cannot die... but it doesn't specify by dieing and coming back... That return to form is immortality.

    I am confused on this

  • @WhiteWesWelker If he dies then somebody else becomes Ras. People can be killed but Ras is symbol and always exists.

  • @WhiteWesWelker In the comics, Ras Al Ghul is actually immortal, and his daughter, Talia, falls in love with Batman. But in this movie, Liam Neeson's character Ducard uses stand-ins to assume his identity. When one dies, another takes his place, but Ducard always remains as the true Ras. Neeson's character is actually a combination of Ras Al Ghul and a French bounty hunter named Ducard who was one of Bruce Wayne's mentors.

  • @BoonyBanny I'd love to be able to live and train in a place like that! =)

  • I agree with every other Liam fans. Cool voice and plays a perfect mentor!
