He had signed peace with Stalin, so he could have easily invaded all Europe first as well as some weaker countries and then once this is done, he could have waited a little to give his army the time to rest and everything and THEN attack Russia. you also forgot to mention what I have already mentioned (if you learnt to read), such as the vast police state, the oligarchical political system Napoleon implemented into his colonies, the re-introduction of the salt tax, the numerous military blunders such as Egypt, Russia and 'The Spanish Ulcer'. Also the personal ordering of the firing of cannons on protesters, the forced conscription of the poor, as the rich were allowed to bribe their way out and the indoctrination within education.

There's no doubt that Stalin was far worse that Hitler, killing far more that Hitler ever could have dreamed. And yes, Britain and France declared war on Germany before they declared war on them, but Germany invaded czechoslovakia and Poland before france and Britain invaded Germany. Hitler went to far, and pushed his luck too much.

I know the reasons why Hitler invaded poland, it doesn't mean they were justified. If you studied your history you would know that dictatorships don't last, and don't last for a reason. Because they are oppressive, corrupt and essentially easy short term solutions for order during a time of instability when people are most vulnerable.

@RichtoffenDr and although Germany's treatment after WW1 may have been harsh, that is the result of losers in wars. The same results would have occured if Germany had won the war. It's called teh spoils of war. Such treatment may well be a reason for the rise of Hitler and the nazis, but it doesn't justify the brutal regime which the NSDAP instigated. The Nazis did well because they modernised their army quickly and implemented a fast war. As soon as it slowed down, they were screwed.

Because of the large amount of votes the NSDAP was getting, Hindenburg made Hitler Head of Government. Basically the second largest power in the Reichstag, it also ment that Hitler was going to be the next leader once Hindenburg resigned, or died. Hindenburg won the elections when the NSDAP party was just about getting popular. So basically, Hitler won the elections later on.

It is sure that Stalin killed much more people than Hitler. The difference is that he was not punished after war. Stalin, who was like Lenin in most of the aspects, made suffer his own people "trying" to rise his rusian economy. Hitler, although he killed jews and went to war (the worst things he did), was a great politician who rebuilt German and recovered a disastrous economy. If he had't gone to war o killed injustly so much people, he would have become one of the best presidents ever.

I dont care that he was a Catholic. So was Hitler, doesnt mean he was a good man. I'm an agnostic-athiest anyways. And on what way did he treat his troops with honour? By giving them shiny medals and pinching them on the ear? I'm sure they loved that before their ears were frozen solid after Napoleon got them killed in Russia, or after they died of disease in Egypt when he abandoned them to increase his profile back in France. No, you assumed I would like him because he's a Catholic, otherwise you wouldn't have made the point. The only battle Napoleon deserves mastery credit for is Austerlitz. All his other campaigns were either a failure or were made out to be great victories when actually they were extremely close, and Napoleon was saved by other lucky circumstances. His Egyption campaign was a military blunder, but, as his own propagandist, he made it out to be a glorious expedition.

Napoleon called himself "the revolution", but he did virtually anything to revert things back to the ancien regime, re-instigating the aristocracy, creating a complete oligarchy by giving his brothers the positions of rulers in his conquered territories. it was a close and kinda accurate video first of all the deaths were largely exaggerated and it is true Russia didn't fight the war by themselves but they were the only ppl who did anything i mean the Germans seemed unstoppable till the Russians made them retreat from Moscow and then invade Germany and won the war.

@Catholicism777 You also forgot that Hitler ordered his troops to stop at Stalingrad and Leningrad, allowing the soviets to rebuild up near Moscow. Eventually, the Russians overwhelmed the Germans. If Germany had attacked, and had crushed Russia's capital, it would have been all over for the Russians. But because Hitler got involved in the war, and because he got obsessed with the friken Uki Reserves, he ruined it.

Stalin is not a heroe, but for sure the most underestimated leader of the 20 century, don't juge stalin with a documentary, specially a documentary from america or russia. Germany never had flying saucers, they tried prototypes, but records show they failed. This was during the second world war, not the first and secondly they never had the technology to make a nuclear weapon, neither the capacity many countries were developing nuclear technologies at this time. Britain was not the first country to bomb civilian cities either aerially or otherwise, do some research. You dont know anything about history so don't embarrass yourself.
