Don't worry. Comcast is 10x worse. It gets pixelated every 10 seconds for me. I'm switching over to DirecTV premium. Something must have been wrong with the alignment of the satelite and your house.
I agree your dish just needs a realignment, you can do this yourself or call a service tech. At least with direct tv you can fix the problem i have cable in the metro area of Orlando and their signal sucks we get pixilation all the time and they cant find the source of the problem
man, I have seen 8 technicians and two supervisors, trust me it took them six months to fix the problems during which I was paying my bill.they finally solved the problem by installing a different kind of dish, but six months is a LONG wait
You could definitely use a realignment so that your dish gets good readings on 99(c) and 103(c). Call DirecTV for more info. Also, you might have a bad LNB or bad BBCs (the things hanging out of the back of the receiver that connect to the coaxial cables). If you need more information, as I said, call D* of send me a private message and I'd be glad to help. :)
@baddirectv It happens with Comcast, too. I have Comcast/Xfinity and this just happened on my tv an hour ago.
