If you think it’s random, then you haven’t listened to the lyrics – or maybe you haven’t read enough John le Carré. Either way, we never dressed the video up as art (and since when has Youtube been about that in any case?) and since your contribution to this “artistic community” is a playlist of other people's work, I think I’d quite like it if you shut up now, OK?
I love this song too (though I confess, I only heard it through playing MGS3).
In answer to your question, yes the series is recommended! It's very good, very involving. The acting is of a high standard.
I haven't seen the movie, but the series is 5+ hours long, so I expect it moves at a slower pace than the film, but it is still exciting and very moving in places (especially Jim Prideaux's story).
@Lunettarose Thanks, I actually read the book before watching the film; but had no idea there was this series. And yeah. Metal Gear Solid 3 ending credits, I know exactly what you mean. :)
Really a great video ! Probably the best I've seen about a movie. And the music is sooo beautiful. Specially like the moment where they all turn their heads and then Ann shows up... Hat off !
@waitingfor2008 Thanks for the comment - glad you like it!! And yes, Sir Patrick has indeed got a beard! (and he makes a very good Russian spy, too, despite the fact that he never speaks, lol)
Fantastic job! i'm reading the book right now and it's amazing. Starsailor is one of my fav bands ;)

@sirasaga Oh, thank you! That's very kind :)
Yeah, the book's brilliant, isn't it? ...And Starsailor too, of course ;)

Uh. . . You took a cool series and stuck some random ballad on it. Wow. That's truly art, that is. Buy your ticket to Hollywood.

Great job, man. This is one of my favourite songs. I've watched the film twice, which I think is absolutely fantastic; is this TV series recommended?
