Very nice. I have a sherline CNC mill I am working to get running with Mach. Once I have it running I can make a few parts for my router I have all 3 axis bearings and 2 leadscrews already. Never thought about moving the sherline spindle over to the router but it would probably be easier to use a router and leave the mill setup. Again nice work.
Hi Radcnc, Thnaks for the comments. Motors are 269oz steppers, Xylotex controller and bearing are THK actuators on Y and Z and linear rails and ballscrew on X. At about 1:50 in the video I zoom back and you can see the machine.
Great Job, well done machine. I would be very interested in seeing what the machine looks like. I would like to know what size steppers you used, and what controller, and what bearings. The reason I watch these youtube videos is to learn how the other guy does it, and to get ideas for my own machine. Maybe I am alone here, and all the people watching just want to see it work.
