  • Also, don't forget that a vegan diet is almost all carb based, so that's just more sugar you are putting into your body, which is going to lead to inflammation and high cholesterol. Also, if you want to tell me that a high fat diet causes high cholesterol, just know that studies have shown that people who eat the most fat and cholesterol have the lowest levels of cholesterol in their blood.

  • Vegan food: ALL food, that's not meat, dairy or eggs. I dont need rotten flesh, boob juice or period droppings thank you. Humans dont want meat, they want SALT and fat. Vegan food is pasta, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasteries, sweets and salts. We have so many recipes and options now.

  • why dont vegans drink/eat dairy??

  • @tatetalk I can answer that. Dairy is actually not natural for humans. Its the breast milk of another animal, meant for its baby. In the dairy industry, cows are made pregnant their whole lives, and have their babies taken from them at birth, all so humans can drink their milk. Those babies are sold to slaughter or dairy. it's cost effective. also, more than 80% of the planet is lactose intolerant--why? because we dont produce the lactase enzyme anymore, we're not SUPPOSE to be drinking milk.

  • I'm sure being a vegan works for some people, but I'm afraid the majority of people who decide to become one are doing because they are following some trend or they think it's cool. Also, depite what people think, veganism is NOT a natural part of human evolution. There is a reason why people crave meat such as steaks and not carrots. Also, it's the reason why many vegans go back to eating meat.

  • @jreily88 I respect your opinion and what people eat is really their own business. My husband and I are currently trying to convert to becoming vegetarians for health reasons. His stomach just can't handle it anymore and I have no choice but to convert because I am not willing to make 2 separate meals or eat meat while he can't (he loves meat!) FYI veganism is natural (in my opinion) what do you think people ate before they had stoves or discovered fire? It's not like they could just take a

  • @christald1

Good point. You're right, humans ate mostly berries and other fruit before developing tools to hunt and kill animals. However, before the introduction of modern agriculture, we thrived on a diet high in saturated fat and some fruits and root vegetables like squash with no health problems whatsoever. Also, saturated fat has no effect on heart disease by the way, and that has been proven numerous times.

  • @jreily88 bite out of a pig raw, right? Just some food for thought ;) I love meat too, but being a vegetarian/vegan has so many health benefits and I'm so happy that I can look forward to a healthier lifestyle for my husband and I.... and our (future) kids ;)

  • @christald1

I respect your choice and yes if it's what you want to do, that's fine. But so many people are becoming vegan because of so much false information. Yes, as far as the commercial meat business goes, that is a very inhumane way to treat animals, but not all cattle ranches are like that. Some local family farms that raise grass fed beef treat thier cattle very well up until slaughter.

  • @jreily88 I have never met a vegan that has ever gone back to eating meat in my entire life. In fact, I don't think I even know a single vegetarian that has gone back to eating meat. I also crave carrots all the time and I never crave meat. Maybe veganism does not work for you, but I think you need to just give up the fact that for many, many, many people, veganism is healthy, veganism is smart, and veganism works.

  • @joethemusician

Just because you haven't met one doesn't mean they aren't out there. Also, there are many vegans out there with severe depression and other health issues. Humans naturally crave fatty, salty, and sweet foods because that it was the body needs. For sweet foods, we eat fruit. For salty and fatty foods, we eat meat.

  • @joethemusician I am sorry but my wife and 2 of her friends were vegan. Once they got pregnant they all went back to eating meat and they are still eating meat. EVERY individual should find out for themselves what is the best diet and not follow a trend blindly. Eating meat should be done in moderation an preferably organic.

  • @victor9245 "Once they got pregnant " pretty much explains why they started eating meat again if they were truely dedicated vegans. Remember, women eat a lot of weird shit when they get pregnant. I'm sure she doesn't crave chocolate-covered pickle sandwiches as part of her daily routine :3

But you're right. People should be less of a follower and more of a leader as to what they eat. I'm a vegetarian myself, but I can understand why someone would like a hamburger over a leaf of spinach.

  • I would highly recommend to anyone, vegan or not, to stay away from any non cultured soy products as a meat substitute. If you want to eat something that tastes like meat/milk/cheese, then eat meat/milk/cheese. If not, then don't.

Soy is incredibly unhealthy. The one exception is cultured soy, IE tempe, soy yogurt, soy sauce etc... Warning: Tofu is NOT cultured and some cheap soy sauces are not either.

  • I was not able to comment on your 'Why Are You Vegan?' video, kept getting 'error try again' over and over, anyway thought I would post the comment on another of your videos...

I was vegetarian for about 30 years and thought I was not contributing to exploitation, death and suffering, then on 04/05/2009 I watched ‘Earthlings’ – the day I became Vegan. I am Vegan for moral and ethical reasons – for life.

  • I'm a vegan in Gville, too! :-) Love your vid!

  • Can you do another video with more vegan products? This video is very helpful.

  • I need your help! I will be having a party next week. I am transitioning to being a vegan. I want a mozerella and ricotta cheese substitute for my lasagna. I want something that comes close to the real thing. I also need an egg substitute because I need to mix the ricotta with an egg substitute. I love your video and I bought some of the things that you recogmended and I love it!

  • yay vegan!!

  • thank u for this vid!!!!! very fun & informative

  • i find this video tres helpful, thanks so much! still only flirting with the idea of being vegan but i'm getting closer

  • Hey, loved you video! I just switched to being vegetarian. I want to go vegan eventually but I'm slowly building to that. I've read though that the only vitamin/nutrient that you CAN'T get from anywhere else except meat is B12. So do you take a supplement for that? I know sometimes there are traces of B12 in dirt...but I've just been eating nutritional yeast on various things just in case....what's your opinion on that?

  • i was reading through the comments here, and i find it ammusing how people seem to think that we are somehow "LESS OF A REAL MAN" because we choose not to eat meat cuz you know "ONLY REAL MEN EAT MEAT"...LMAO..GOOD VID MAN

  • =) Great video! I've just started the vegan lifestyle and its good to know that there are lots of alternatives out there! Can't wait to try that Rice Dream icecream bar!!

  • I'm a meatatarian.

  • @sjwright76 no one cares

  • @joethemusician um ok? Did I say you have to? Am I expected to care about your lame looking imitation meat and dairy products? No, I'm a friggin man, I eat what I want. I don't need some soy, veggie burger garbage. Give me a steak.

  • @sjwright76 you commented, seeming to care that someone would want to hear your opinion. No one days. You obviously care if you came here to watch my video. Don't you have better things to do with your life? I'm sure you're more of a boy than a man as you're resorting to internet trolling. Seriously, grow up.

  • @joethemusician Why does anybody comment on any video? Because they see something and they want to say something about it. I don't care if you, or any of the other random people reading this "care" about my opinion. I had something to say, and I said it. You seem hyper-sensitive. I notice your use of the word "troll." That's really only used by insecure types online. I commented because I think veganism is incredibly stupid. If you're not prepared for that, don't make videos.

  • @sjwright76 most people who comment here make valid points or try to open up a debate to have some sort of discourse. Saying "i'm a meatatarian" is both childish and counterproductive. If you have something to say, then say it, but don't hide behind childish banter. What are we? 11? Seriously. Why don't you try to debate the merits of Veganism to me if you think it is so stupid... or are you afraid you can't keep up? You're nothing but a troll.

  • @sjwright76 hey i agree with your comment i am vegan and it makes sense to me but its definatly understood that not everyone feels that way. eat meat or dont thats your own choice just be well educated and anyone who is rude or whatever to someone who does eat meat..thats just stupid everyone is entitled to their own opinion

  • @Juiceboxmania89 What about dumbasses who want to use the same stupid, homophobic arguments of "I'm a man, gimme a friggin steak"? That's a little rude, too.

  • @sjwright76

It's actually been proven, (by SCIENTISTS) that if you eat healthy, are vegetarian or vegan you can actually be more aware. But if you just sit down and chow down, and don't question the food you eat- you're actually dumbed down, and easier to control. People that eat unhealthy go along with whatever they're told by the TV or those in apparent positions of authority, never questioning their actions or what's really happening in the world around them. You become a controlable zombie

  • @sjwright76 lol I don't understand the link between sexuality and the meat thing... it truly is not sensible....

  • @sjwright76 you're also a little kid. No one is a meatatarian, you're just suffering from self appointed machoism forced down your throat by jack in the box ads. Grow up and be responsible.

  • <3 tofutti!!

  • Way to go bro!

  • Earth Balance FTW!!!!

  • there you go again saying being vegan is healthier

  • @erererer2 actually i said you can be "very healthy" by working out and being a vegan. Do you have trouble reading? I never said anything about eating meat. You must be 12 or 13?

  • drop the shit why cant you just leave people alone if someone eats meat thats fine by the way if you eat meat you can be much healthier if you actually excersize

  • @erererer2 i never once tell anyone that they should be a vegan/vegetarian if they don't want to be. You can be VERY healthy by working out and being a vegan. When did I ever tell you to do anything with your body? This is my body, this is my life, these are my decisions. Got a problem? then don't watch the video!

  • Hi Joe, I don't understand why people are so rude on here when you're doing a great thing and helping explain veganism! I have been thinking about becoming a vegetarian and tried it, but failed. The self control it takes is commendable! I saw PETA's "Meet your Meat" video and was balling! I need to get more educated on this and try it again. I bought the book "Eating Animals". Have you read that book? Thank you for this video :)

  • I'm not vegan, but I am a vegetarian...I hate the stereotype that all vegans/vegetarians get such as were all pasty and skinny or we are all "emo"/goth and are aetheists or wiccans...

  • I'm just curious if you're a vegan. Why are you fat? Vegans are healthy and thin.

  • @mrcandelario22 i'm not fat, i'm a healthy weight. I'm sure I can run longer and faster than you can. I can lift over 200 pounds on a bench press. I a bit stocky but quite muscular. That is what happens when you work out. I think you're just not used to seeing a vegan with muscle mass. Being thin is not healthy! Being HEALTHY is HEALTHY. I'm curious, why are you so threatened by me that you feel the need to attack? A little insecure?

  • It is awesome that you are conscientious about your health and the well being of animals! I dont know many other male vegans out there. go us!

  • J'aime! I'm a new vegan, and was a vegetarian for many years before that, so I already knew about a lot of this stuff, but I love your approach. :) Being open and genuine is the most helpful way to be, and I always like to see people who are part of a cause talking about it in positive, active terms.

  • Tofurkey = The best vegan deli "meat" out there.

Personally, I prefer Nayonaise over Veganaise, mostly because I find Veganaise has a weird buttery flavour to it...or maybe i;m just weird.

Do you have the So Good vegan ice cream brand in the states? I'm canadian so I dont know if you guys have it as well but its awesome, even better than Rice Dream, which is also one of my favourites haha.

Great video, I eat nearly everything you showed xD

  • I am dead sure that joethemusician has no girl friend and living in his parents house...i am for saving the wild life but going vegan is just too much....u want to be vegan be that but don't false promote it...coz you are killer too

  • @jags73in LOL i surely don't have or want a girlfriend. I'm very happy with my partner. We own a very nice house if you must know. It would be nice if you were smart enough to actually debate my points... plants do not have a central nervous system. Plants are not capable of complex thought (emotions such as fear, agony, and pain). When you are able to use your brain feel free to come back here and debate veganism. Until then, no one is promoting anything here. Please grow up!

  • @Jags73in omfg I'm a veagan and now i'm scared of eating anything oh god!!!!! (But I'm eating)

  • i have a question, i'm trying to be a vegan but i have a exception for milk and wool is this ok? because if you don't milk a cow it cna hurt it, and i think it's ok to trim the wool off of sheep. is this ok?

  • You're making me hungry!

I think this video should actually be titled "Vegan replacements for dairy products" or similar. :-P

  • I buy Nayonaise... They have Veganaise but I have never tried it.. I have only tried Nayonaise once and I bought it instead of Veganaise because it was cheaper.

  • I was all into your video until you started pulling the SUBSTITUTES. For me, the sense of being vegan is to not wanting to eat sth. like milk products, meat and eggs b/c it's made of animals. so why eating sth. that's called after a meat/milk product and flavoured to imitate its taste?

  • @CellarDoorPoet the sense of being vegan is to not eat products that come from animals so that they can live a cruelty free life. This video is to show people who think that they "must" eat dairy milk to consume ice cream are wrong. This video is to show people who think they "must" eat beef for a burger they are wrong. This video is to show people who love mayonaise that there is a cruelty free version! This is not my usual diet, but these are foods that help cravings! Use your brain!

  • @joethemusician Just re-read my comment. Didn't mean to come of so harsh. Anyways, I looking at it from your point of view it's a convincing argument for others to become vegan, but I'm glad that you don't consider the substitutes your daily diet.

  • recently i heard somone saying, here on utube" the hardes thing about being a vegan is dealing with people" I instantly had to agree. but now that I see how easily u deal with all those uncomprehending comments i must say thats the way to go.

I also like ur musicvideos.. oboe is a nice instrument.

    greetings from berlin

  • @ANTRIEB3000 you know what, you're so right! The hardest thing about being a vegan is dealing with people. My diet is my diet. I eat what I eat because that is what I see fit. I do not wish to cause harm or stress to the lives of animals so I alter what I eat and what I wear. No one else has to do the same, but if they wish to learn more they can come take a look here! Everyone else seems to get the wrong impression!

  • I wonder if there will ever be people who don't believe in eating plants or animals so they simply eat dirt.

  • @avmf8 no

  • oh yeah, highfive for veganism! anyway this is a question for not just joe but anyone vegan/vegitarian - what cheese do you recommend and hot dog? because i've had yves and smart food hotdogs and they taste like plastic. :p then with the cheese, I want it to melt and it never does it also smells kinda funky.

  • In France we don't have all of these substitutes :(

  • What do vegans eat? The most awesome food ever! :D

  • @sessehomaru99 SO TRUE. Once you go vegan you feel sooo much better and alive. Include lots of fruits and veggies :-) LOVING IT.

  • I'm vegan! vegan ice cream is the best! :)

  • cheers 4 da info buuuud

  • if god didnt want us to eat animals he would'nt of made them from food

  • @martoss1000 if I was even remotely interested in what you had to say I would ask you to share your opinion. So if god did not want us to have gay marriages he would have made it impossible to fall in love with people of the same gender. Also, if god did not want abortion he would not have given us the technology to develop that procedure. Thanks for clearing up all those political viewpoints. Now the rest of the world can go on.

  • @joethemusician and what has gay marriages got do do with the fact animals are made from food?

  • @martoss1000 what does "God" have to do with anything here? animals are not food!

  • @martoss1000 haha "Animals are made from food" you're special.

  • @pumpkin44 thanks

  • @martoss1000 animals are not "made from food"

  • @SophieSomeday animals are made from meat . meat is food making animals made from food

  • @martoss1000 people are made from meat, so i guess we should start killing each other and eating what is left. you're an idiot!

  • @martoss1000 but the animal was first and meat second. meaning animals can be made into meat, not meat made into animals.

  • @joethemusician

Did you read what you wrote before you submitted this post?

By your logic, God gave us the ability to molest children, and build atomic bombs, and have incestuous relationships... so we can do all of those things?

I'm a vegan, mind you... but you're an idiot.

  • @martoss1000 if god didn't want us to eat humans he wouldn't have made them out of food

    yum yum

  • @MsYperite ha ha yea humans do make good food

  • @martoss1000 Can I eat you then? Seems there's absolutely nothing wrong with it by your logic, humans are 'made from food' too.

  • @Rachiebabe10 of course you can i would love it.

  • @jameskilllllllll where are u from fresno/Visalia California here.

  • i wana try this all i eat for snacks is oreos and peanut butter =[

    and i am vegan <3

  • vegans are stupid. they kill their own bodies

  • @101RandomFilms There's a problem with you, not with vegans. Workers of meat industry train on cows, pigs and chickens first, then start killing people. I ain't gonna pay to train somebody who will try to kill me.

When I ate meat, I had problems with my heart. You are stupid if you think that heart pain or quickly increased heart rate at night is a sign of good health.

  • Man-aise? Is that like the gay version of mayonnaise?

  • Water, watermelon, rock melon, blueberries, pomegranites, custard apples, plums, guava, paw paw , pineapple. Carrots, kolrabi, swede, turnip, radish, parsnip, avocado. Lime , lemon, grapefruit. Lettuce, broccoli, zucchini. Walnuts, macadamia, sesame seeds, pepitas. Why would anyone need to eat imitation meat? We haven't even mentioned so many things here already?

  • @miniphil12 there is nothing wrong with imitation meat and or dairy products. a lot of people are affraid to go vegan because they are thinking that they will miss their favorite comfort food (ice cream, etc...). This is just a way to show people that as a vegan you don't have to give up anything! I don't understand what the problem is... it is just an informative video.

  • @joethemusician

Imitations meats are usually high in sodium, so there's the health aspect.

Also, imitations meats should not be encouraged because once it's a little bit harder to get 'vegan steak', a weak vegan will just give up because they've basically been eating the same foods.

When you encourage whole food cooking and things like that, you're encouraging a whole new lifestyle.

  • @671rAsTaGuAmBoI4LyPh i'm sorry but i will encourage people to eat whatever they want to eat. if you want to eat fake meat, eat fake meat. if you want to eat natural proteins like beans, rice, then eat natural proteins. anyone is just as likely to give up for any reason, substitutes or not. the best way to go vegan is to want to go vegan. I'm sorry but I really find your view point to be both counterproductive and to be based on fallacy. When you encourage elitism you set us back.

  • @joethemusician

I'm not 'encouraging elitism'. Every meat eater i talk to brings up the point that 'all vegans ever eat are meat substitutes, why would i want to eat that? it just tastes worse than the real thing?'

BUT when all i ever eat are home cooked vegan meals and raw foods, people see that my food is indeed, better in every way.

  • LOL! I loooove rice milk but I am neither vegan nor vegetarian. I like tasty animals, lol.

  • Im transitioning and this is my 2nd day, :)

  • Wish I had a friend like u. I'm the only vegan I know of lol:-(

  • @dj6969jones Yeah so am i i'm in Year 10 aswell so you don't really see Young Vegans

  • OMG I miss that sausage, I mean sausage like product. I haven't found anything close since I've been in Australia :(

  • also! I'm a fat vegan!

  • Great video, my dear! Thank you for presenting the alternative foods for those who are considering. I've been vegan for about 6 years, and I'm constantly dealing with the inane questions about protein and calcium.

  • Thanks for good "vegan" video. I became vegan about a year ago and feel so great. There is no way back to cannibalism.

  • I'm starting a vegan lifestyle transition and I feel great.

  • Problem is, most of you have not even a slight clue of what real crulty is.

If you have been were I have you would not be protecting animals but humans instead.

This society is crumbling and fast I mean realy fast.

When people cannot get enough food from farms or from animals this society will turn in on it self and you will witness a new level if killing. In the process of our demise 10 times the animals will perish with 3 times the waiste do to starvation.

  • @lilnubcake you are overly picky here. why not just watch the video, realize it is about substitutes, decide you're not interested, and move on without making a comment. I wanted to show people who are considering veganism but are worried about giving up things like ice cream and cheeses that there are other ways to live. If you have a problem with that, by all means, just stop watching my videos!

  • My friends are often floored by the variety of great food my family eats as vegans. We can cook anything and make it taste fantastic. Im fat and when some people hear Im vegan they are so confused because they think I can only eat salads. One friend of mine corrected a shocked omnivore by just saying briskly, Look, vegans are some eatn mother fuckers. I thought Id never stop laughing.

  • Let's face it: meat eaters often disguise their meat to look as little like the original animal as possible. Nuggets? Really? What animal looks like a nugget? They even call it pork instead of pig. I think it is the meat eaters who exercise a little disassociation in their diet. So I don't even think about meat when I have a faux sausage, fake'n strip or chik'n patty. It is just another way to eat veggie protein and to have all the comfort foods I grew up with, but cruelty free.

  • @leavesof3 you have a great comment! thanks for posting!

  • Thank you so much.

  • thanks for this video! actually it's not very useful for me, because i'm from austria and can't buy this stuff you showed (but i'm sure we have similar things here too ;D). after 3 years of being vegetarian i finally was able to convince my parents to let me be vegan :) hope i will make it! thx for the video!

  • this is a video about vegan substitutes. if you are interested in learning about non-substitutes please go watch another video. there are plenty of resources out there. It doesn't make much sense for you to come to a video about vegan alternatives for dairy/meat and then complain about how all vegans do is eat alternatives.

  • as I have said many times there are two theories on being vegan. eat foods that are naturally vegan or eat vegan substitutes. i do a mix of both but that does not work for everyone. My diet might be about 1/5th substitutes... you're generalizing vegans about their diets and frankly, that is just silly! no two vegans are the same, and no one vegan is better than any other vegan for the way they choose to eat.

  • Haha, I have that experience too when something tastes too meat-like, as if I'm being duped.

  • is that a picture of a cheeseburger on the calendar behind you??

  • @lukerickrob it is a Simpsons Calendar. does it matter to you?

  • oh chill out, it was meant to be a joke. I am a Vegan, by the way

  • i am pretty chill

  • Thank you so much for this very educative video!! it's helping me for my new choice in life: go veg!! but unfortunately i'm pretty sure all these kind of products don't exist or are not imported in France (my country)... :-( don't know what to do...

  • i ment some my bad,or is that the ones who eat raw

  • Comment removed

  • why dont vegans eat wheat if they r not allergic to gluten?

  • vegans do eat wheat

  • Thanks so much for this video! I've been trying to find some good vegan brands to try out. The tofutti cheese sounds promising.

  • Don Lee Farms veggie patties are the best! but the only place you can find them is Costco

  • i love milk!!!

  • tooday i went dont to a farm and found a baby cow

first i sheared it and cooked its skin

then it still alive i beat it to stimulate its meat to make it better tasting

then i ate all of the meat raw and squished its eyes into a paste for salsa

  • so did you think that was funny or that it would upset me? i'm just curious

  • Why dont vegans eat wheat if they dont have an allergy? i realy need to no is it prossessed in a unfavorable way?

  • vegans do eat wheat

  • ur so silly

  • yeahh in my place i cant see that kind of food so i make it my own ....

  • what do u guys use for protein? i would like to be vegan, i love animals but how would i stay buff?

  • Tofu is loaded with protein. Other vegetarian sources of protein can be found in nuts, grains, legumes, leafy green veggies, and soy milk. I think there is also protein in seaweed.

I'm sure there are other sources that vegetarians and vegans can eat. As long as you have a variety in your diet you'll be fine. :)

  • dude you gave me insparation to start go vegan....have not eating anything from animals in.....2 mounths :D

  • I am also not a fan of the "faux meats" that taste too much like meat. Its weirds me out. lol

  • My fridge is ALWAYS stocked with earth balance, veganaise, tofurky slices and VEGGGGGGGIES lol yum

  • Veganaise is so good! But just say "Nay" to Nayonaise.

  • nayonaise tastes like boogers.... not that I would know anything about that :) veganaise is so much better!

  • unfortunately, as bad as it is. we've created domestication. animals like sheep, cows and chickens cannot be set free; they'd cause too many vehicle accidents and they'd go extinct pretty quickly. instead of going vegan it's probably a better idea to try and pass laws that improve the conditions of farms.

  • the best thing you can do for your body is to go Vegan. the best thing to do for the animals is not to eat them. It is really a win, win situation.

  • Don't you think both ideas work together? Less demand for meat means less overcrowding and over breeding. Most vegans are also pro-improvement of the quality of life livestock are allowed. BTW, many domestic breeds are extinct today because we stopped artificially selecting for them. They could not be returned to the wild, because they never existed there. Nor could they. Nothing wrong with that.

  • this is a GREAT comment!

  • @leavesof3 anyways a PERSON HAS TO see god in everyonee all muslims hindus christians athesits animals bugs insects thas why eating meat and eggs is wrong how would it feel to be slaughtred to death to be murdred to death god gave us vegetables and fruits those were naturally given to us those are natural see god in everyone all everything that exists have no eneimes dont

  • Thanx man. I was going to try to do the whole vegetarian thing next week and i went to my doctor to get a flu shot today and asked him bout doing it. then i was like wait i don't know anything about this...

    So Thanx a bunch man

  • Why have salad when you can have Steak?

    thats my motto!

    thats my motto!

  • ::praise joethemusician for his comeback::

    I love you! haha

  • Vegenaise and Earth Balance RULES!!!

  • mmmmm better than cream cheese.

hands down. best cream chese ever.

  • good video joe

i think its so easy been vegan now days and more ppl should realize it,even in Finland you find so many dairy replacements and can live a great healty life!

  • Saying this on behalf of my gal: Go Rockies!

    Oh, and go Vegan. Cheers!

  • He's not asking you people to post your beliefs about whether or not eating meat is natural. So shut up. He's showing what vegans eat. If you don't have a positive comment, or if you are a meat eater that believes "eating meat is natural" then why the hell are you watching? Get a life.

  • I absolutely love that Yves deli meat stuff but the only problem I have is that it expires before I use it all. Maybe I'm not eating it often enough but it seems like it expires really quickly. But it's delicious!

  • Thanks for the video, it was awesome. :D

  • This was made on made on my bd last year ! Anyways what is the difference between vegans and vegetarians?

  • Vegans dont eat dairy stuff, meat, egs, nothing from animal. Vegetarians do eat dairy stuff, but not meat or eggs. :)

  • Aww it would be nice to see a video of you and your partner, if he's still around of course.

  • i'm not vegan or vegetarian. but my brother was and the morning star products were great and tasted just like the real thing.

i'm actually considering going veg :D

  • ok sludgedozer, we have teeth that are specifically designed to chew both, plant and animal substances ! We are built to be omnivores, for we are made to thrive off of any food source available ! Veaganism is just a choice, though man has never soley lived by this diet , it is possible in today's society !!! Joethemusician , from what foods do you obtain choline and omega 3 necessary in proper brain function and growth ? just curious !

  • Flaxseed oil

    1 tablespoon (14g)

provides 8.0g of ALA and relatively insignificant levels of LA

Flaxseed, ground 1 tablespoon (24g) provides 3.8g of ALA

Rape Seed oil 1 tablespoon (14g) provides 1.6g of ALA and only twice as much LA

Walnuts 1 oz (28g) provides 2.6g of ALA but also four times as much LA

Tofu 4.5oz (126g) provides 0.7g of ALA but also seven times as much LA

  • The foods richest in phosphatidylcholine — the major delivery form of choline — are egg yolks, soy, wheat germ, I don't eat egg yolks, but i do eat soy and wheat. By the way, you do know that Choline is linked to cancer, right? Its not healthy to over consume!

  • loved your video 5/5 :D

  • cool post...really informative. Thanks!!

  • ABUSED VERMONT SLAUGHTER PLANT 4:11 minutes. I refuse to fund this There are many more example to see on Youtube. It is each persons choice but an informed choice is best.

  • Vegans eat plenty. I eat madd food just no meat and dairy!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont get why people are vegan? lol. i know they enjoy the taste of meat and dairy related products. i think they just need to feel like they are better than all the other "barbaric" meat-eaters lol. if nature didnt want us to eat meat we wouldnt be omnivores.

  • Hi, Im not picking on you but I just saw this on the news and its on Youtube. VERMONT SLAUGHTER PLANT shut down abused. I could not believe that people could be this cruel. I dont mean any disrespect to you.

  • @Igentenos what?

  • Guess again, all the natural omnivores have very small incisors, not the pronounced ones we apes have. And, the natural omnivores generally have pronounced "canines", which we are lacking. There is no meaningful physiological similarity between apes and natural omni's. Humans are -cultural-, not natural omnivores, and current epidemiology proves that.

  • Bullcrap, humans are omnivores. Just because you choose not to eat meat doesn't mean that you are superior (the main reason why anybody would ever go without meat). Face it.

  • you are wrong viharsrok. you are completely wrong.

  • joethemusician: If viharsarok is completely wrong, then you should at least explain why.

According to "Nutrition by Natalie"--humans are omnivores. Please watch the YouTube video titled, "Man? Vegetarian Vs. Meat Eater, Nutrition by Natalie," at this YouTube link:

  • According to susie humans are omnivores. LOL

  • You don't have to make accusations that I am superior just because my diet is superior to yours. Face it, you are wrong dude!
