the absence of function in the mind, cannot be comprehended by the mind... only by accepting that you cannot comprehend it, can you reconcile yourself to the fact that you have schizophrenia
@MrGodkid I am just having a hard time understanding much of your language. I am sometimes sensational, but what does "fundamentally rationally motivated" even mean? I would say that rationality-determined motivations play a role in the development of many a disorder, but perhaps what's more fundamental in the majority of cases is various forms of stress.
@nednednerb for the record, my only mistake, now that I've given some time to think about what I said, was that the collapse of function is necessarily to do with oversensitivity... actually schizo-response occurs in relationship to any developmental defect, which in my case happened to be oversensitivity... frankly I find you unhelpful, but it may be that someone who is only interested in the sensational derives some benefit from what you say
@MrGodkid when you say "technically... is not a thing, it is the absence of a thing," that does not make sense. Your first comment takes for granted a definition of pathology and human cognition as a set that is full, overburdened, or absent in various aspects, but to call schizophrenia a technical absence of normal traits is beside the point of the conceptually relevant clusters and differences that we call symptoms in the implementation of general human psychological characteristics.
@nednednerb "when you say "technically... is not a thing, it is the absence of a thing," that does not make sense." You have no idea whether what you are saying makes sense, saying that I do not, when I know for a fact that schizophrenia _is_ the suppression of a DNA GTCA expression... if you are talking about schizoaffective disorder, then yes, it is an overactivation of a DNA GTCA expression. Once you know that your disorder comes about for a very logical reason, it is easy to reconcile to.
@MrGodkid However, nor does it make sense to call schizophrenia "technically a thing, the presence of a thing." That's not the best notion of a human psychological system. It sounds like wacky speculation about the metaphysical knowledge of a "diagnosis." What you've said may refer to a particular interpretation of the schizophrenic experience and disorder, but your generalizations are too extreme.
@lece1213 Don't worry. This entire video is based on an absurd proposition. I'm not REALLY confused. Don't take my absolutely unscripted, improvised exploration of deeper ideas fool you for weak thinking ability. These words are too unplanned and the ideas too sophisticated for absolutely easy clarity of communication. Oh, I get confused at times, for sure, but who doesn't? The fact that I can be incorrect in my analysis of reality and should maintain healthy skepticism, i.e. to doubt, is good.
@nednednerb its just a fact, oversensitivity to an arbitrary neural connection leads to collapse of function rendering the schizophrenic without basic processes that others take for granted... in exchange for this uncertainty, schizophrenics gain an enhanced neuro-plasticity that accounts for the "creativity" you mention
schizophrenia... technically... is not a thing, it is the absence of a thing. Your DNA, part of it gets suppressed and your mind does not develop consistency that other people take for granted. It is still possible to orientate yourself to what is normal, if you are schizophrenic, but you are still aware that you are not able to do (read "think") certain things that others are... and so you must compensate, sadly, sometimes with madness.
For the record.... I love you .... and your vids.... my brother was recently diagnosed with schizophrenia ... and your vids have helped me better understand what goes on in his "world" .... though I haven't yet figured out the best way to handle him... your vids have better helped me handle myself when dealing with his delusions.... like many he refuses his medication .. as a family we are making it together.... Thank you...
Perfect , about doubting your self, and all stupid thoughts that sometimes come in mind, I belive , that any mental ilness is overacted so called ¨normal¨ stauss of anyone.
But what kind of thoughts are coming in people mind , and people belive theese thoughts, and even worse, thay think that the thoughts are who thay are. So I think practizze of doubrting of yoru own thoughts , asking yyourself .. ¨how do i know that it is true, and i am right¨, should teach in scool :))I like your videos
i just wanted to add one thing... that i completely agree with what you're saying. people don't think i'm schizophrenic because i talk rationally. but i'm confused about my lower and higher experiences.
thank you ("Ned"?). it really helps to communicate with intelligent schizophrenics. i have about 12 blogs (most of them private) with over 100 posts some of them. so i like what you say
also, scribbles in journals that look a lot like yours!
hello. i was diagnosed 7 years ago when i was 20. i had experiences with drugs where i thought i was god. i don't have many friends now so when i get lonely i look for young schizophrenics and if they're guys i usually post a comment. i feel safer around guys. umm, i was just writing a friend about my experiences. how i confuse myself. how i think i'm god and no one else is. anyway, i really like this video. i like writing a lot. thanks.
@lxi1account I believe there are more medicines, and better possible medicines that what we have. I am a science enthusiast. I am also a politically minded activist. I want sane and homeostatic medicines that are derived out of a dedication to augmenting and assisting natural ecological patterns. Social, plant-based, intelligently and harmonically synthesized, and cultural-linguistic medicines, for everybody roughed up or believing our world has become civilized already. We've got a ways to go..
please take into account that i feel what you are experiencing and am reaching out to you in love, empathy & understanding
you are in open window fluxing in and out of alternating dementions and sporadic realities, sometimes not realizing that are fully channeling that of everything and equalizing it of you but when you are more in tune with your self to thy most extreme you'll have a full grassp of how you are, and then you are able to give an equal to what is ( and what/who is around you)
the best true you can do is find your soul, your true self so that way you can differentiate the here & now from some one elses here and now, once learned you will have full grasp of ALL, of everything, of oneness...
once you are you, you need nothing else ..(believe= opisite of doubt, yet when both are taken to the extreme they become one in the same, rise up and let them be to create each other for one in equality (ying/yang), believe everything, all at the same time, for all is everything all at the same time..
every thing is right/ true, it just depend on how much energy is intended, or put into it being, creates its existence in the now.
now to get in your body, thats your experience, to do so- some great methods are meditation, yoga chakra meditation, getting in nature away from ridiculousness, putting intention for finding you true self
remember when you ask for help , or ask a question you need to let yourself be ok to receive the help or answer. for that you created the question you exactly crated the answer, but you need to create the intention of question for answer, for they are one in the same
all of my responses start from bottom to top, the ensile video comment is is the beginning & then goes up from there , sorry about the complication, the comment box wouldn't let me upload it all at once... thanks for reading my comments :)
When you were first diagnosed, I (mom) really had no clue you had it. Not until I read and saw that you had shown or had MANY of the early 'warning signs', Also had classic symptoms of the disease. I personally don't understand people who can say you don't have Schizophrenia. Does it make them feel better? What is the purpose of their questioning it?
99% of people surveyed believe they are above average in both looks and intelligence. I suppose 99% believe they are less delusional than most people.

There is no medical test that can test for 'schizophrenia'. People WITH the label they call schizophrenia have been helped WITHOUT degrading loss of liberties and toxic drugs. But BECAUSE of combined oppression of pharma industry and psychiatry ALTERNATIVE forms of help for those such labelled have been suppressed.
haha i have done the jumbled text that is incoherent for years now :) it made me get very angry sometimes because i would get sooo into it. i never knew i could feel so much emotion.

He's not talking about literally doubt (as you perceive). Doubt is a beautiful gift when your schizophrenic. Why?
Doubting your irrational thinking, and knowing what you perceive to be real is not, is one step closer of living a rational life.
The mind of a schizophrenic: paranoid.
A thought can become and idea, and an idea can become the truth. (should we doubt the thought?)
Before you accuse some one failing in life because of their attitude, you must understand where they are coming from.

I'm not trying to be heavy handed, I'm trying to be helpful by showing that the development of a disorder is fundamentally rationally motivated.
