@samorivideos6 Nikola Tesla made a great power system, that has yet to be improved upon, the amount of electricity generated from a Tesla Coil is several times that used to produce it... however, there is no great danger from the Secondary itself, being as its all Volts nearly no Amps, the danger comes from the Generator itself, but a Transformer attached to the Secondary could transform it into usable power to power a whole residential block, with out simple generator. RnD??
...I tried using a capacitor to limit current on a MOT and on a 4kv transformer I have. I calculated the Xc, and it did work. BUT I was getting some weird oscillations and also both the transformer and the capacitor got real hot. When I drew an arc from the transformer, it was a loud popping instead of normal continuous 60hz AC arc. I've found that inductance seems to be the best way to limit current.
Very clever! That's pretty cool. But I'm not sure it's such a good idea to have the ballast on the secondary side. I've always thought it was safer to have it right at the source, on the primary side. Also, from my experience, using capacitors as a ballast (with capacitive reactance) doesn't always work too great...
nikila tesla mad a great discovery. the only problem is its dangers if handled wrong

you ballasted it on the HV side? Schweet.
You can buy a RFI line filters, you know.
You lucky sonofagun... look there at those fans, you've outdone yourself.
A+ in coil design- neat, clean, innovative, and impressive.

thats cool where did you find the masive fly back connected to your mot?

i hate when people talk about it first

shut up, it's interesting.

i already know how it works i wanna see it

We all know how it works, but you should look at how he's designed some of the things that make his coil unique.
