  • Yes, this is definitely the fourth movement!

  • This movement of this quartet is the most exciting of the Haydn Quartets!

I listened to the opus 77 and the opus 76 (I think) quartets over and over on an old LP record back in the 1980s.

If I weren't poor, I'd buy a CD of all the Haydn but also all Boccherini string music:

quintets and quartets. I want to listen to something I've never heard before as much as I want to hear old favorites like this one,

played so awesomely by you guys!

  • nice playing, although a bit rough to fit in a good "classical" style.

  • hey i'm coming to eastman next fall. this is good.

  • This is the 4th movement, the 3rd movement is a slow movement...

But it is very well for a first recital!

  • Isn't this the 4th movement (the finale?) - a minuet/scherzo or slow movement almost always is in the 3rd slot. This has all the markings of a rondo allegro.

  • que rollo carnal.. jejejje no se como llege aqui.. un saludillo VEO VEO...

    chaito

    suerte

  • This is very beautiful. Thanks for posting. I was looking for something else however: I don't know if you've ever seen the movie ''Interview with the Vampire", but there is a violin song when Louis and Claudia enter Paris, and I would like to know what it is. I was told it was Haydn's third movement. That probably wasn't specific enough. Anyway, do you know what I'm talking about? Thank you, have a good day.

  • @sensorsated that was BAch Partita no2, Sarabande
