One of the more bizarre things to witness is when there is an ice storm in Lubbock, and the blades start throwing blocks of ice of the tips of the blades. Very scary.

Well thank you, and hell ya it was cold!! -40 when the sun was down, and if a snow storm was coming, it didnt get much warmer, but it was a cool experience. Froze my butt off, but it was worth it, you never understand how cool a wind turbine is, until you stand by one, or go into one. but it was still cool!! lol
