also, does checking the root true in telling what color the pups will end up being? does that work for all breeds or just shichon ones? lol. sorry for having too many questions
@honeyangel156 Shichons can fade. They have a newborn coat and then a more mature coat that comes in at the root. Often the color at the root ends up shades lighter at maturity but the root is a good indicator of tone and hue of the coat color. I can't speak to other dogs, I only raise shichons.
