  • Try to find a copy of the book, From Dardanelles to Palestine. A true story of five battle fronts of Turkey and her allies and a harem romance by Sarkis Torossian. He was an Armenian hero at Gallipoli on the Turkish side and was betrayed by the Turks-infact found his fiance dying in the desert in Syria. He also ran with Lawrence of Arabia and ended up in the U.S. Rare book, and a truly tragic story.

  • Their was no Genocide. Nothing but a bunch of Armenians who lived in Turkey and started problems when Russia was at war with Ottomans and these idiots sided with the enemy. Now they pretend to use this event to collect money 100 years latter like some Jew trying to get back old Nazi loot. This so called Genocide is nothing but getting thrown out of Ottoman Empire in the winter and not realizing to start a beer putsch in the winter was a bad idea.

  • @KaiserWilhelmIV So the women and children were "starting problems?" How can you be proud of the murder rape torture and starvation of so many women and children that their bones still litter the desert in Iraq and Syria today?

  • @macofdeath yes they were Ottomans and actively aiding the Russians. IN times of war you don't fucking fight against your nation. They mostly died when they ran to the hills where it was colder. That time was not fucking time for "lets create fucking Armenian nation while we are Ottoman citizens bullshit" Consider how many Armenians die from Parliament lights each year and compare this "genocide"

  • @KaiserWilhelmIV So is that why there are the bones of hundreds of thousands of Armenians in the desert of Der-ez-Zor, Syria, or however it is properly spelled, as has been documented on video? You do understand that the majority of the dead were the women and children, because most of the fighting age men had been drafted to fight for Turkey, had their weapons taken and then were also slaughtered in the "work battalions?" I'm just trying to understand how someone couldn't see the evil of this.

  • @macofdeath Those people were collaborators with the enemy, the fathers are the ones who abandoned them to fight for Russia and lost. The penalty for turning against your own country in times of war is death at least. Also, they moved to the desert once they were discovered that they fought for the enemy. What happened is they failed at trying to start their own independent Armenia and failed and paid the cost.

  • 8 people are turks

  • How can people say that the Armenian Genocide is fake?!?! Would people as smart and traditional as Armenians really blame Turkey for killing 1.5 million of there people? That's just common sense right there that Turks lack. Adding on to that what about the Greek Genocide also? Turks killed a large large large amount of Greeks, not as much as Armenians though. So i don't understand? People need to pull there head out of there butt and face the facts.

  • @womensrightslolz1

YEA RIGHT...turkey also says that armenians killed turks...so does greeks killed turks...

turks ruled balkans for more then 400 years...in turkey many people are roots from balkans...and where are the people there now ? where r the mosques there ? they murderd and deported them....like we did to you....truth is this...everybody did to everybody...just armenians are cry beybi...IF YOU ARE SO BIG NATION, CREATE AGAIN...LIKE TURKS DID...

  • one third of the turkish population(thats about 27 million)will be exterminated

  • @dpapaioannow Lol, you wish.

  • @EminTech i do actually ;)

  • HISTORICAL FACT SITE-human.gov.az

  • @newmassonic another world wide fact side of you 'historical' facts xocali.net .. have fun

  • GANK BIDI LINENK OU TER SHADANANK !

  • sooner or later, Turkey goverment will have to recognize the genocide! it is like Germany would denie Holocaust! yes, WW1 Turkey was no better than WW2 Germany!

  • @oxbadcoded Armenia is the first country that legally admitted christianity as official religion! How come you never heard of it! it is all most as old as Greece! more than 2000 years of history!

  • Imagine Turks accepted such genocide and apoligised from Armenians... Then what? will you be ok with that or will you ask for more...

  • @GamsIzSeYYah Why don't they apologize first instead of trying to cover up their barbaric past?

  • @SirArmo

We have similar stories in Turkey.. That Armenians and Greeks killed, tortured, raped and massacared Turks in Anatolia, Cyprus and Middle East. Besides we have evidence for all these, such as photos taken in cyprus, mass graves in Azerbaijan...

I accept the high possibility of so called massacare, either it was mass killings or migration, in both cases Turks caused some Armenians death.

The difference between us is we are not screaming out loud the past mistakes but you do

  • @GamsIzSeYYah Because the difference is WAY more Armenians were killed than Turks in the little conflicts. There were massacres of Armenians before 1915 as well, with the amount of people killed in the thousands. Both sides had been fighting with each other for some time. Armenians, however, didn't take it out of proportion. We didn't mass execute Turks like how they did.

Not recognizing it as a genocide is dishonoring the 1.5 million INNOCENTS that were killed.

  • Armenians with their Imperialist allies lost the war but they want to win it in a different way by distorting the history. In 1980s I have met the survivors of Armenian genocide of Turks. 90 years old men cried like little kids telling their stories. Why weren't they being interviewed in any of these films mostly done in the Imperialist Western countries

  • No comparison with Jewish Holocaust. The Jews prior to their slaughter by the Germans did not take up arm struggle against Germans. They didn't form themselves into killing gangs and attacked innocent Germans. They didn't have an eye on a piece of German land upon which they wanted to build their nation. There are other elements that disqualify any attempt to establish this comparison. It doesn't work unless you are blinded with hatred.

  • Azerbaijan began a bloody massacre in the February 27 February 29, 1988, Baku, Sumgait (Azerbaijan), only 25 km, was synonymous with violence. Armenians, their homes, abused, tortured and burned were forced to flee. Unspeakably women, among the underage girl had been raped. In connection with these arrangements, many Armenians were disabled. In addition to the Armenian Genocide of 1915, three bloody days in February 1988

  • wtf man the genocide happened, Turkey just needs to get some balls and admit to it. And the reason why yall dont wanna do it is cuz of land issues and money. But wow, one thing for sure is it takes balls to apologize, but even bigger balls to admit to it. And unfortunately, you guys did neither and u stoop to an even lower level by trying to turn the tables on Armenians and blame it on us.Kiss my ass and try to say that to my dead ancestors that saw the genocide before thier eyes. No need to hide

  • @xpssh One should not accept the idea of genocide or the opposite of it just because it is dictated to you. I have tried to listen the both sides of story. It looks like the events took place were very tragic for both sides. I wish they were not happened. In addition, using a fool language is not good to anyone.

  • And Turkey has the nerve to complain about "massacre" when Israeli soldiers kill Jihadists who attacked them after trying to enter the country illegally.

Israel - it's time to recognize and remember the Armenian Holocaust, and Turkey can go to hell!

  • When I listen to this brave man I'm feeling so a shame in my government that didnot recognize in the Armenian Genocide!!

the term Genocide created in order to describe the Armenian catastrophe but since then the world recognize in many Genocides except for the Armenian.

I hope it will change soon coz the Survivors will not stay with us forever !

    God bless Armenia!

  • @77Merav

History is not bussiness of State. If recognizing Ar. Gen. by US is right, denial of it by Turkey is right too. Plus there is no legistlation about Armenian genocide in Turkey.

It is not wrong to denie or aprove Genocide by free minds, which means no one can be condemned because of their ideas about Genocide.

  • @77Merav

No one should be judged for what he or she think about the Genocide, everybody have right to be wrong in their ideas. Being against Genocide is not necessarily hate speech. No one can be evilized for denieing it, or condemn for that. It is not a shamefull act as long as you don't have bad will.

It is up to free mind of Turkish society to decide what is true or wrong.

Otherwise it is absurd that denieing or accepting Genocide be legal work.

  • @tolgaoztemur The term Genocide invented by Raphael Lemkin to describe the Armenian catastrophe.since then the world (including Turkey) recognised in thousands of Genocides except from the one that term invented for -the Armanian Genocide!

tell me,How would u feel if someone murders your familly and without any shame tell u that it's never happened?

how would u feel if someone decides to erase your memory and tell you that the people u love never exist ?

    how would you feel?

  • @77Merav

I don't know how I would feel. I don't want to know either. But I think I would be insane.

But with my sane mind, I know hatret which is different concept than anger, is evil either. I am sane and I can see what is just what is unjust on my own way. I say it is matter of free will. No one can be found guilty and condemned for their thinkings. By free will I don't mean hurthing people with hate speechs. Yet denial of Genocide is not necessarily hate speech. Because it is not hating

  • @tolgaoztemur, "No one can be found guilty and condemned for their thinkings"?? are you sure? so why Turkey threaten on turkish Historians that recognised the Armanian Holocaust?

why Thurkey theathened on the jews in Turkey when Israel in 1985 set a conference about the Armanain genocide?

denial of Genocide is a crime and you know why? coz the dead cannot speak! it's a moral crime!

  • @77Merav

I only say, individually on my own that, "no one should be found guilty and condemned for their thinkings", because it is my moral value. If you agree with me, there is no point of arguing. If you disagree, don't drift the subject and explain why you think they should be condemned.

If Turkey threatens Turkish historian and Jews, she is wrong.

Denial is not crime as well as any thinking is not a crime, because every body have right to have wrong opinion (freedom of thinking)

  • If the Armenian genocide never happened, the Holocaust might have not happened either.

Do you realize Turks were somewhat the reason of the Holocaust? Hitler got the idea of it from the Turks.

Your school text books don't tell you the truth.

I'm not saying he wouldn't have thought of the idea later, but do you see how much f*cking trouble THEY(Turks) caused?

I'm Armenian, and I will help get this recognized.

Screw Obama for not sticking with what he said, and totally denying it.

  • @DaronM4Lyfe

As an Armenian why do you want it to be passed?

Will it make Genocide more convincing? Personally I don't care what the stranger think about the issue. It is not their history. None of them experienced those terrible days. You are nothing more than a vote for politicians. They won't heal your wounds. It will bleed for ever, unless Armenians and Turks don't face each others.

  • Turkish contribution to history:

    - Stealing other people's culture

    - Genocide of several nations (Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, etc.)

    - Destruction

    - Killings

    - Stealing

    - Rape

    ...and more

  • Memories of all 1,500.000+1 lives forever.

    God Bless Armenians.

  • Let the world know about the Armenian Genocide! Long Live Armenia!

  • @Gregory10000000000 Yea the facts are there. You guys lied. It is even embarrassing to lie than do a genocide.

  • yes it is barbaric. so called turkic civilization is based on stealing. that's what nomads do. Stealing lives, land, bulidings and memory. it's not racism.

  • (sigh) i rest my case...

  • LMAO! You have no case. A barbarian is a barbarian. Any excuse to justify raping , murdering christians and forcible conversions to islam, destroying 7th century churches, and converting churches to mosques. you should worry about the healthcare debate in your new home in the states.forget about protecting the dishonour of your pathetically evil ancestors.

  • what else prove can we give.... we have god damn survivers... the genocide should b accepted already!...

  • Thanks for posting. However, is still alive?

  • In a world where we should love one another , asking Turks of today about yesterday has the sole intent of causing innocent people harm and injury. Its aim is to divide and install feelings of hate between countries the way the Elites of this world wish for.

  • Stop the sickening denial! Recognise The Armenian Genocide!

  • Actually you miss the point entirely. This has nothing to do with "resurrecting" this stuff, it's about putting it to rest by recognizing it. Denying it is an insult and in a sense accusing the Armenian victims as being liers. You seem to be caught on the point of "compensation" which is jumping the gun as acceptance has not even been reached yet.

On a side note, for the others here, using terms like "dumb shithead turk" really doesnt help the cause and is not constructive at all.

  • Wow, a racist Australian, eh? Trying to "make the world a better place"? You crack me up.

  • shameful racist trash

  • god bless him,100 years old and standing/telling us about his experiance.

  • Beautiful and touching. I'm so proud the person who made that possible was Nareg Hartounian, the love of my life. Baby: I'm so proud of everything you have done for the Armenian people, thanks for being such a wonderful man to me and others, I can only thank God for having blessed me with you.

    Love,

    Monica
